Brian at $300 Data Recovery has been great to work with! They were quick to respond to my inquiries and were able to recover a large amount of important data for me. However, there were some issues I encountered during the process that left me feeling frustrated.

When I first received the initial recovery report, it only showed less than 1 gigabyte of data recovered. This was disappointing, as I had stressed the importance of the files when I initially submitted the request. After requesting a deep scan, I was able to recoup over a terabyte of crucial data that was previously missing. Though I was able to recover most of the lost files, the fact that I had to request a deep scan left a bad taste in my mouth.

There were also some miscommunications regarding the format on my new drive. As someone who works on both systems frequently, I mentioned that I needed the drive in exFat format. However, it wasn't communicated to me that their software was limited to just one format. This meant that I had to repeatedly explain my needs to the staff, who were dismissive of my requests. It wasn't until I called customer service that I received a satisfactory explanation.

Overall, I felt that the $300 Data Recovery team could have done better in terms of communication and customer service. While I'm grateful that I was able to recover the majority of my lost files, I shouldn't have had to jump through hoops just to get them back. During times of data recovery, clients are already under a great deal of stress, and these added complications and miscommunications only add to that. I hope that in the future, $300 Data Recovery can improve in these areas to provide a smoother customer experience.
