Our experience was wonderful. ***, ***, *** and *** were so helpful. They answered all of our questions and reassured us throughout the process. We had many bumps in the road as we transitioned from initially attempting to build a home to purchasing a completed structure. However, we were supported every step of the way. We highly recommend this team.

Absolutely the worst lending company out there right now! We had so many issues when we started the process. We turned in paperwork and they would lose it almost every time. Once we had completed the process they messed up paperwork and forced us to refinance our loan due to a error on paperwork and then took forever to complete the refinance like 10 months we have lived in the home for over a year by the time this process finished. I would not recommend this lender to ANYONE!

I am very impressed with the service I received from 1st Signature Lending. Each person we spoke with or worked with was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The process for refinancing our house was easy and only took 28days from start to finish! Our loan officer *** was so fun to work with, he was always on top of things, and knew what he was talking about! Highly Recommend *** and 1st Signature for all of your loan needs! You wont be disappointed!

We are first time home buyers and 1st Signature has been great! *** was our main loan officer *** also helped out. I had so many questions about this whole process, but *** and *** answered every single one. They were very patient and thoroughly explained everything until it made sense. They returned every call and email and they stayed on top of our file. This whole process was so simple and I can't thank these two enough! I highly recommend 1st Signature to anyone looking to purchase a home!

This company ***. It takes forever to get ahold of someone because EVERYONE's voicemail is full and cannot leave a voicemail. This is a HUGE red flag, ladies and gentlemen. Do NOT use these lenders. Their customer service *** too, nobody cares, they just want you to sign and they will ghost you. I got ahold of the person that was working with me and they had no idea of what I was talking about and made it seem like I never applied! WTF! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!When you end up getting scammed and treating like f*** don't say nobody warned you!

The comments from these folks to previous complaints about says it all. Excuses, condescension and ignorance are their strengths. In our case, eight weeks into my loan, with a closing date around the corner, they inform us that our on-frame modular home does not fit into their lending program so I was outta luck. They had the information on my home day one from the manufacturer yet were not competent enough to figure it out for two months. If you want a miserable experience while playing Russian roulette with your loan, these are the lenders for you. Otherwise, Id look elsewhere.

Let me start by saying 10/10 recommend! Everyone with 1st signature that we spoke with along the way was absolutely amazing. The whole process was broken down to us throughly and made easy to understand for 1st time home buyers. They all remained in contact with me and my his and the whole time. From start to finish it took maybe a month! It wouldve been faster on our end but getting certain info from my husbands employer took a little longer. Either way, it was smooth sailing the whole time. Im extremely thankful to have been able to work with such an amazing group of people who strive to help others!

Working with *** made securing our new home construction loan possible. He was there, helping and guiding us every step of the way. He communicated with us, sometimes several times a week, so we knew what was going on, needed or just an update of where things were. His knowledge and support through this process was invaluable for us as we had never gone through this process before. He took the time to explain everything to me, anytime I asked and had so much patience with all of my questions. We would recommend contacting *** at 1st Signature to any of our friends or family!

I was a first time home buyer and the whole thing was terrifying at first. ***, my loan officer, made everything so understandable. He answered every question I had even on weekends and even if I had asked him before but couldn't remember. He never grew impatient with us and was always transparent on what was happening good or bad. There was a point when we thought it wouldn't happen with zero down but he fought for us hard for two entire weeks until he got it done! I can't say enough good things about him or this company! They have literally helped change our lives and we can't thank them enough!

Can't find words to describe how fantastic my experience was with 1st Signature. *** was great I applied from a dealer on Friday evening ..*** called me Saturday morning ..explained the problems that I had had with another lender instantly preapproved me ..and by Monday I had written approvals for two different types of loans. He communicated with my real estate agent, when she called him asking if I could increase the amount of the approval he gave her an instant positive response and I am now living in that house !*** was educational, courteous, responsive. He made the entire process completely painless! I will be eternally grateful to him ! He deserves a BIG raise!

My *** was very friendly and explained the process of the loan application. But through this crazy whole process *** became my brother from another mother. It got really hectic a few days before closing and *** help me go through some breathing exercises. Some info that should of been translated way ahead. But we got through it and *** worked their bottoms off to make it happen on schedule. This has been a crazy 7 months. Not one transaction, but two. The first couldn't continue not because of 1st Signature, but family. But ***, started a new type of loan and we were on our way to purchasing a home not building one. Thank you ***, what a roller coaster ride, I have learnt a great deal due to you guys, now I must fix my crown and enjoy our new home. From The *** of Hearts?

Choose anyone else! This place is an absolute disaster. Lack of communication is an understatement. My loan officer, who was extremely hard to get a hold of on a daily basis, apparently quit. I was never notified, I called 3 times and left voicemails all went without anyone calling back. I *** hear from them for over 30 days! My new officer *** call me until 2 days before closing just to let me know there was no way we would close and that no rate was locked. Upon talking with managers nothing close was done in the following 4 days to recoup what had been lost. They acted as if I needed them more than they needed me. Apparently thats how they feel about veterans. Thankfully I found a different company that did more in 24 hours than first signature did in 60 days. I cant speak poorly enough about this company and not only do I not recommend them but I encourage any potential buyer to run and find someone else immediately. I cant imagine a worse experience.

Very deceptive business practices! My first dealings with this company ended in a "supervisor" listening to recorded telephone conversations to hear her employee say he could beat the current rate I was getting. I was right and she did admit he lied but did nothing about it. Now this business is a preferred lender of the builder i am in contract with...so I tried again. Same employee said he would have to give me a 6.75% rate for the pre-approval. I specifically asked if it would be my permanent rate and he said no only to turn around in an email saying it would be on the loan paperwork and that's what I would be closing at. My wife and I both have 760+ credit scores and recieved an email saying we have great credit. He approved us for an amount that would not cover the build, land and improvements and on the contract he wanted me to sign of on it says it was the amount I requested which is not true because he never asked me. When I asked to see the guidelines that would give me a 6.75% he said no its proprietary. Oh and my wife is a vetran who deployed in Iraq and this is for a VA loan. This business has recorded lines remember that if you have a lapse in jugement and decide to do business with them. I've had recordings pulled once and will be doing it again!

was super friendly and everything was great5 star serviceuntil I was called and informed with less than 5 days to closing that a mistake was made on behalf of the company which resulted in drastic changes to my mortgage. Long and short of it is I called in the very beginning looking for a mortgage company that would provide a mortgage on a manufactured home with property. The application was submitted for a stick built home and NOBODY caught it until just a few days before closing when the appraisal, home inspection, and realty listing clearly demonstrated that this was a manufactured home on acreage. To say I was upset was an understatement. Put me in a position of essentially having to stick with 1st Signature when I could have used my local bank and had a local company. They did work hard after hours to get minimum documentation in time for closing in the same day I was originally assigned, but the attorney had to meet later that day to accommodate. Very disappointed in how all this went down. I feel as if I was put in a situation where I could have made different decisions that might could have saved me money on the closing and over the term of the loan. But because of the investments in getting to closing Im left with having to stick with 1st Signature and not lose more money in closing on a loan. I didnt really have in the budget for changing mortgage companies.

I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with 1st Signature Lending, LLC. We had some issues with them before, but they fixed it up. However, now we've been living in our home for a whole year and they're still holding onto our final draw to the builder. We've been asking and asking for our money, but they just keep saying it's in "escrow." We've been paying our mortgage in full, but they won't give us our money. The builder isn't even planning on finishing the house, so we need that cash to do it ourselves. They owe us $20,220.19 and we're not getting any answers. David A said it was in our "escrow account for the final draw" back on May 16, but we still haven't seen a dime.

I applied for a loan with 1st Signature Lending on March 15 through my builder. After waiting for eight weeks, I was informed on May 13th that my loan had been declined. This was just a few weeks before closing and it was not because I did not qualify, but because the type of loan being funded did not qualify. I had already informed 1st Signature about this early on. This has caused a lot of problems for me, including having to wait another three months to close, a completed home sitting on the builder's lot, my house full of packed boxes and half full of furniture that I had to donate, a cancelled July family reunion, and the threat of higher interest rates due to inflation. 1st Signature Lending has not offered any compensation for the significant emotional and financial pain that this has caused me. Their response has been an admission of guilt and a dismissive attitude. I would appreciate it if someone from 1st Signature Lending could contact me and address the issue of compensation.

We applied for a loan with 1st Signature Lending, LLC for a USDA construction project. They approved us, but suggested we use Sedgwick Home as our builder. They said they were trying to get Sedgwick on their approved builder list, which should only take 3-4 weeks. However, after 4 months of pushing back meetings with Sedgwick, we lost a contract and $1000. We then found a new property and got into a new contract. 2 months later, they had the initial meeting for approval, but it wasn't approved after that meeting. They now have all the documents from Sedgwick, but won't approve them for unknown reasons. They keep pushing back the approval date and won't give us a time frame. Our closing date has been pushed off several times, and they won't give us a time frame. We stand to lose $5000-$6000 because 1st Signature won't work with us. When we ask if they will ever be able to produce a loan and close, they don't seem sure.
