However, when I contacted 123Ponds.com, they refused to take it back, saying that the problem was with the manufacturer and not with them. I found this to be quite frustrating, as I had purchased the pump from them and expected them to stand behind their products.

And on top of that, they charged me the original shipping fee and a 15% restocking fee. So I ended up paying $30 just to send it back, and I only got $52 back. It's a total rip-off, if you ask me. And when I looked at the reviews, it seems like this is just how they do business. They even sent me pictures of the box, trying to prove that it wasn't damaged. But I don't buy it for a second. Stay away from these guys, folks.

I was annoyed that I had to reinstall a failed pump just to take a photo of it, but I did it anyway. I also took the other required photos and filled out the form as best I could. I submitted it and waited for a response. It took a few more days, but eventually they approved my claim and sent me a replacement pump.

When I called the customer service line, I asked to speak to the supervisor, but the lady who answered the phone refused to let me speak to them. I was really frustrated with the whole situation. I don't understand how they can stay in business with such a terrible return system. They even changed the description of the screen on their website, which made it confusing for my credit card company to understand why I returned the product.
