I recently opened an account on www.lifeout.com about im guessing a few months back. Any way This evening they decide to terminate my account. and now they are saying it was because I had multiple accounts, Ok fine. So I asked that Just one account be re opened or re instated.. I get this rude email saying No thanks we dont support Liars fakes and scammers or spammers.. I dont know who it is but they are being Rude to me for no reason what so ever.

A little explination as to what life out is. Its a gay social networking site. its like the gay version of myspace only you must be 18 to sign up. they have a chat forum and a blog forum. I go to report a guy who was harassing me and bam my account gets shut down. and so I emailed their support team and Im getting treated like crap. For no reason. I have the email to prove it which I'll copy and paste. minus the email address of course.
This is just one of the emails I got back from them after asking if they could re instate my account

No thanks. We don't support spammers, scammers or liars.

Next email. This was their response to Me when I said there was no reason to be rude. Look what their reply was... How petty can you get?

And there's no reason to create multiple fake accounts,
either.

That really doesn't matter at this point. He'd tell you the same
thing.

Along with another nasty Email from one of their staff members! Ya know Not all gay people are this rude and dis respectful! there are actually some respectable gay people in the gay community.!

This is the Email that I received from Life out

You can post a "[redacted]" if you want, but keep in mind a couple
of
things. 1) You aren't a customer of ours. You don't PAY for our
service.
2) Being "rude" isn't a "rip off". 3) If you post a false,
libelous claim
against us, we can easily sue you for such.

Thanks for being a past

lifeout
has changed the last few months. first they got rid of the cam service. then, they brought it back but you could only converse one on one. you couldn't converse in let's say a group like you originally could for several yrs. then, they got rid of that chat service and got rid of social room. now it's just a glorified stroking sight. with every room hinting it has something to do with masturbation.
So, i emailed lifeout telling them i was disappointed with them for getting rid of the ability to have a chatroom with the ability to converse. I also, asked them if they refunded those people who had premium memberships who could view up to 30 cams at a time. or, did they just take the money and run. i ended my message by saying if they didn't bring back the ability to converse without feeling you had to stroke i told them i would delete my account. a few minutes later i went to log in and they went ahead and deleted my account for me... rather than address my issues.
Lifeout. in the past when logging in you saw a page where it was paid porn cams. slightly under the page you could over ride that and continue onto the web sight. now they have the paid cam's sorta front and center making you think that was your only option. the option to opt out of the paid cams is still there but you have to scroll further down to opt out. where as in the past it was slightly below the paid cams

what i mean is it use to be a half a page of paid cams. then directly under it there was the opt out of it and take me to the sight. now the entire page is paid cams and you have to scroll aways down to the bottom to"take me to the website... skip the cams". so, the paid cams have been more front and center. people not familiar with the sight or newbies may not know about that opt out button. or, that you have to scroll aways down to find that button.

i Just had the same issue. I had been with them for yrs. I went and uploaded a ton of old pics and some how one of my pics from when I was a kid was in there.. I went back online the next day and I couldnt log in so I emailed them and they canceled my account and then I tried to make a new account and they accused me of bashing them on the site and making lies up. They could have removed the pic or gave me a warning instead they cancel my account. Lose all my pics and videos. So when I did open the account I posted on the wall about what was going on with my account and that I felt it was being handled badly. They close my account again. email them back and they said They were going to let me open a new account but because I was bashing them on a feed and lies I am banned from the site.

Lifeout is stupid. I posted pics, of myself, and my dog. They cancelled my account saying I had a pic of a kid. I was like, what kid? No explanation, no warning, just cancelled, I had the pics saved in a folder on my computer, I checked and rechecked, only me and my dog. And still this said, I have a kid. They are rude sniping.

I had a horrible experience as well - and I suspect I dealt with the same rude [censored] you did. I couldn't believe what was happening...I had never really been treated that way before. I won't claim I didn't violate their terms and conditions - it is possible I did...but as I said to the customer service rep...who reads the fine print?

In my case I had posted a photo ID of myself on my profile. My profile contained my actual name and I was a Premium paying member of the site. The picture of my photo ID wasn't meant to offend anyone it was just me being open. Ironically I read here about Lifeout calling people with multiple accounts, fake and scammers...well I was being as open as you could be...I wasn't posting banking information and my phone number and address weren't posted or readable. But anyway I logged into my account one day to find ALL my pictures delete - like ALL the whole folder...I was dumbfounded as I had 70 or 80 pictures in there but figured somehow I must've stupidly deleted the folder...so I uploaded everything again.

In another day or two I get an email from CCBill saying your Premium membership is expired/cancelled, tried to log in thinking I needed to renew and my Lifeout account was gone...deleted. So I politely contacted the help center and then the rude exchange began...basically they terminated my account because of the photo ID had posted of MYSELF...which is fine...maybe it somehow breaks the terms and conditions of the site...not really sure...but regardless I was given no warning...no email nothing at all...on the site or to my personal email account - they just chose to delete my account and cancel my Premium service. Despite what the rep said I was not given a refund for any balance I had. Anyway...he said because I continued to post this picture that violated their terms they took action to protect themselves and deleted my account. As I said without any warning how could I have known Lifeout themselves deleted all my pictures? I simply uploaded them again thinking it was my fault. Maybe it was for not reading the fine print.

But all that is borderline irrelevant because it was the rude exchange from the customer service rep that went beyond any rational normalcy. My last email was belligerent and I basically told him or her to F@ck themselves because they embodied the worse in customer service I had ever seen or heard of. But here is the basic exchange between us up to that point:

>>> MESSAGE: Why has my account been cancelled? Was there an issue or something I did or posted? I can't log in and it says it has been cancelled or suspended. My last login I froze my account but did not 'cancel' it...can you let me know what happened...I received no email from Lifeout about cancellation but I do see an email from CCBill.com...anyway please let me know what happened or is going on. Thanks – Blair

It's great to know what you think. We disagree.

It's our responsibility to reduce the liability of blatantly stupid
actions by members of the website, both liability for us and liability
for our members.

It is clear that you want to "expose" yourself online in a blatantly
stupid manner (yes, stupid), to which we will not permit. As such, your
account has been terminated and you banned from the site. We do this
because we will have no part in whatever you are trying to do regardless
of the reasoning behind it, however innocent you may feel it is.

Either way, your account has been removed, and your Premium payment
refunded in full. No further discussion will be entertained because,
quite frankly, it's obvious we will never agree on these (or any other)
points.

LifeOUT.com Support

Again from what I can see I was not treated fairly or with any type of respect from this particular Lifeout rep or employee...sarcastic, ignorant and blatantly aggressive and rude. Whomever they are they need to be fired. And by the looks of the posts on this thread either this rep or the lifeout team themselves have some serious customer service issues. I am also pretty sure I was billed additional money and no refund was sent my way. For the small dollar amount I am not sure it is worth my time to argue with idiots like this.

But I would NEVER recommend their site or product after my experience and hope that people reading this avoid the lifeout brand as well.

Thanks - Blair

images of funny meme's and motivational posters? really? and my account got terminated? seriously? are you people for real? where is your proof that i uploaded an image that violated your terms or even anything near the likes of "images including individuals under the age of 18"? i'm not even into guys younger than 25! seriously, the manner of approach lifeout has handled this is so un-human that there is barely any communication before hand. no wonder after all these years lifeout is still obscure in the internet. guys barely know this site and i had to tell them about lifeout. too bad.

i'll be taking my business elsewhere. you are not even popular. thanks for the good time. kthnxbai.

arbitrarily deleting an image folders filled with memes and moivational/demotivational posters and giving me a official sounding yet vague reply where they cannot even pinpoint what image violated their terms. since this was done to me several times already i highly suspect that a moderator or admin got offended by any one of those memes and just deleted the whole folder cause he/she is god there. cannot even reply properly because they are god there.

as much as the site is beautiful it will soon become an empty shell filled with members that no longer login there for years but they keep the accounts alive cause it fills their empty souls.

This company ask for proof of identity when provided they deny service anyway. They call people liars, fakes etc. I was treated in such a fashion recently after being a customer for over 5 years.

I too have had issues with their "customer service" or lack of there for. While i do admit that i was wrong for creating a second account to make a comment on the only person I've ever had to put on the "Ignore" list and say "HA! HA! Karma's a ###!"

I understand that they were not privy to the treatment i had endured all weekend from said individual. Nasty texts using my Boyfriends cell phone as if it were him. The comments were absurd and ludicrous, and i knew immediately it was not who it was supposed to be.

So i emailed every way i could to talk to them. Either they don't even look at it. or they don't even bother to check the inbox.

I have been an active member of this site for years. In fact since its infancy. Ive brought many people to the page. sadly they treat their members in such a horrible way.

i have done a bit of research on their daily business. Since Earlier this year they have lost 20k Hits per day.. they used to get an average of 40-60k hits a day. now they get roughly 20 to 30k. Yeah that might not sound so bad. but Considering that they used to get almost 80k hits a day and now that man. Sad... and the drop happened in a very short amount of time. Amazing things you can find out when you are a Network Administrator.

I am now also totally banned from the site. i tried to make an account and a few hours later it was removed. Again i repeatedly contacted them in hopes of reaching an agreement or an understanding. Nothing. just dead air.

I was treated very rudely - also - by Lifeout
It was for an innocent mistake that I made ... albiet a legitimate mistake according to terms of use
They would not listen to reason -- or accept an explanation or allow any apology or contrition
I am now totally banned--- via: e-mail and IP address
As much as I tried to engage them in dialogue and engage them [on a person to person basis] - the responses got more terse and more insulting and more strong-arm & beligerent
I was a member for more than 5 years -- and now I cannot contact any of my friends because I am banned
LIFEOUT would not even allow me to retrieve any of my contacts or allow meto explain to friends

hi. In my case, Lifeout.com has been very great... You just have to follow their rules and regulations. you do remember that you agreed on following these simple rules when you registered on the site. Maybe you are just one of those site users that just let the agreement policy pass by taking it for granted. It is not being rude to you... they are just doing their part in making their website work better, without spammers or liars... Even I would not approve of a friend request from someone who does not have 2 photos or more... there's too many posers out there... By the way, why would you even make multiple accounts? so that you could view yourself and have atleast one viewer everyday?/ Oh my... That is just so VAIN!...

Dear Mr. Dapper61,

We're sorry you forgot several important facts in relaying your experience with LifeOUT.com.

First, you had a history of creating accounts when you already had an active account. This did not happen once, but multiple times. As our policy clearly states, multiple active accounts is a User Agreement violation. Normally we would have worked with someone if this had been a sincere mistake, but being that you had done so on several occasions, that was clearly not the case.

Secondly, you forgot to mention how you attempted to contact us regarding the situation. Over a period of several weeks, you sent our support team countless rude, harassing, threatening messages demanding immediate resolution, often in the middle of the night, and almost always threatened severe legal or public relations action if your demands were not met. We apologize, but we don't deal with those who make demands in such a fashion --- your harassing behavior toward our support "sealed the deal" on your permanent banning from the site, and we aren't under any obligation to provide such individuals with any service.

We know for certain you'll try to contact us yet again since we chose to respond here, but please don't. We're more than finished being on the receiving end of your harassment.

Mr. HarryTopp,

We're sorry that you feel the need to incorrectly make it appear as though you did nothing wrong.

First, you posted a harassing video comment to one of our members as a first violation of the User Agreement.

Then, after the member rightfully responded and blocked you, you posted this to your profile status messages: "laughing because [removed] got all pissed off when I said they could have used a camera man for one of his sex videos. Now he blocked me so I can't watch any of his daily posts. BOO HOO -- I'm so sad. LOL"

Afterwards, you sent us a support message claiming that you had felt threatened, when it was obvious that you didn't feel that way at all.

After we responded stating that you were rightfully blocked, you posted another status message harassing LifeOut.com: "Got spanked today by LifeOut Support staff for my 'harassing status update.' Funny, they left it up. Guess they really don't care. LOL"

Finally, you then proceeded to create a secondary active account under the name of "avegayguy". Having multiple active accounts is a second violation of the User Agreement.

What is comes down to really isn't that we don't want members. We love our members, and they're the ones that give us reason to continue to provide the site. What is comes down to is that we don't want harassing, rude members who don't follow the rules, which is why you have been removed from the site.

Good luck at your next site. Hopefully you realize that being rude isn't the way to making friends.

Yeah, you sure don't want to say anything negative to them... they'll terminate your account and then ignore you. NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

One of them members who, at times, posts 5 or 10 videos at a time, got pissy with me when I commented on one of his videos. The guy had stated he was sorry about the camera work, so I said something bout needing a camera man. Then I get a nasty email from the guy and POOF... I'm deleted.

Have opened several accounts and they keep deleting them.

They don't want members -- that's for sure.

I recently had a problem with lifeout also. My boyfriend and I created accounts with our own email addresses, logins, and passwords. We also have the same birthday but different years. Because we chose the same passwords, they said we had multiple accounts and closed both of our accounts. I tried to explain to them what had happened and they refused to reinstate them saying I was not truthful.

I then sent them scanned copies of our drivers licenses showing our names, birthdates, etc and have never heard from them.

[censor]s if you ask me. I have created a new account with them just so I could spread the word about their terrible customer services.

Mr. Deacon_Blues,

Upon review of your account, it was found that you did in fact have two active accounts, a second account by the username of "Mesocyche". It has already been found that this was in fact your account (same IP address, same birthdate, etc). Under that account, you sent two very harassing messages to other members:

1) "Yes, my husband and I both read your profile. The reason he unlocked his pics is because he does that for everyone that visits his profile - it's just common courtesy. You on the other hand, are a worthless [censor], an egotistical [censor], and this was also the fastest block in history you piece of [censor]. Have a FABULOUS day!"

2) "What the [censor] is wrong with you? Blocking people you've never even spoken to. You need to pull your head out of your [censor] Dude. You've just been blocked for being such an [censor] to my friends."

The administration and management of LifeOUT.com *loves* our members. They have made us the growing site that we are today. However, we will not tolerate sending such harassing comments toward other on our site. As such, both of your accounts were removed.

I've talked to other members, It seems like in 2010 someone is on a terror deleting accounts. Mine was deleted by them after 4 years. I also sent a request to their corporate office and it has also apparently fallen on deaf ears. Below is the correspondence to Customer Service and to the Corporate office. I won't be doing any further business with LifeOUT. After 3 days I haven't received a response from Life Out Systems.LLC.

07/13/10

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

I had a profile with LifeOUT.com originally in 2005, due to some issues with other members I canceled my account and after a few months I built a new account. I don't even remember what the account name was or the issue I was having with another member. Instead of reporting them I let bygones be bygones, then after some cool down time to let their feathers got out of a ruffle I created a new account. No big deal.

For the past couple of years I have been a paying member and a free member as well. When my finances become better I planned on being a paying member again. Any how, for the last 5 years I have persuaded many of my friends to become members of LifeOUT.com instead of the well worn, pop-up laden, computer freezing Gay.com.

Monday night when I got home from work and tried to log on to to my account (Deacon_Blues) I was denied access because my account had been canceled. No explanation, or warning. I'm very familiar with your EULA and did nothing to knowingly violate it. I never posted pictures of any one on my profile except for my own, never harassed any other members.

I do not understand why this happened and when I asked Support to reinstate my account you can see their reply below. This concerns me as I have heard from other members & former members of this very thing happening to them as well. I know that one person doesn't matter in the scope of corporate America, but due to this incident my husband (yes we're legally married) even canceled his premium account with LifeOUT.

This will probably fall on deaf ears/blind eyes, but I figured this was worth a shot. Life is too short to let little things like this get under my skin, but the most valuable advertising is from happy account holders, premium or free. This incident made me unhappy with your company. I will miss the many friends I have made through your site, across the U.S. and around the world. I truly hope this issue will be rectified.

Thank you for your time,

John XXXXXX

Personally, their support has been great in my experience. It sounds like the original poster had multiple accounts on the site (and that probably meant that at least one was fake). They should have booted you from the site for misrepresenting yourself.

I cant create a new account as well after the first account was cancelled. I tried contacting their support with no avail. Hopefully, they will give me access to the same website. If not can you list some websites that is similar to it. Thanks!

Sounds like Lifeout.com employs stereotypical drama queens. If you violated a sign up agreement then termination is understandable. The response you received was unfortunate. It shows how unprofessional the site actually is. Lucky for you, and others, there are may other social network sites on the internet. Just don't worry about it. Go chat on another site.
