Woman Within review: Deceptive business practices

Roman's portion of Woman Within Clothing currently has advertised a 3 for $36.00 on printed long sleeve tops with a regular price of $35.00 each. I put 6 in my cart for the 3 for $36.00 sale for Jan 2024. I bought 6 tops total for this promotion. Out of the 6, 4 of those tops shows they are Pre Ordered status (not back ordered) and would be shipped by May 24, 2024 and are excluded from promotions.. but the price shows my discounted savings and new price in bright red print in my cart. It continues to show these discounts in bright red in my checkout portion, clearing my payment portion of the order. Because of previous questionable orders I called Roman's, talked to several people, was told that "Pre - Order today" really means "back ordered" and because the item states "excluded from promotions" EVEN THOUGH the discounts on all 6 items clearly carried into payment portion of ordering.. I would be charged full price for that top in May when it shipped out.. meaning that regardless of what I paid for my card would be charged a completely different amount, more than my order. This is deceptive business at its finest! This discount was a $23.00 savings on a $35.00 top on sale for $12.00 if I ordered 3. The majority of their 3 for $36.00 promotion items stated "Pre Order Today" status, making this promotion deceptive and worthless.

To the regular consumer "Pre-Order Today" would imply new item coming to the catalog for purchase, nothing clearly states back ordered. I have had items come back clearly stating "on backorder". Also this deceptive practice cons the buyer into a non existing sale or discounted price only to charge a surprising full price to their feeding card several months later.

This should be highly illegal. I backed out of ordering as those I spoke with at Roman's and had my order on their screen clearly seeing the discounts but contradicted what was clearly there.

My photos show this discounts in red, the savings in red and 6 tops at $12.00 equals $72.00 as shown in my shipping photo. And shipping added to that amount. Also in my photos is the contradicting "Excluded from Promotions" and "Pre-Order Today" while displaying said discount.
