Woman Within Credit card credit

I placed an order on July 11th for $155.15, canceled it within 20 minutes because I forgot to add a reward code and a free shipping code. I was told at that time it would take 24 to 48 hours to credit back to my woman within card. I waited the 48 hours still no credit. And I called them a second time after 48 hours and was then told it would be 24 to 72 hours before I was credited back to my woman within credit card. I waited eight business days and still no credit. I called them back and I was told that there is a three month hold on any canceled order until it is credited back to my credit card. I do have screen shot of being told it would be credited to my account in 24-72 hours.

Desired outcome: Get my money back on my credit card so I can order.

Woman Within Pending charge

I attempted to place an order online as I have previously done through Woman Within. I used a brand new Visa gift card that had a balance of $100 to pay the $90.91 total for the items I selected. The problem is that the order did not go through…No order number, no confirmation, nothing. Yet, I have pending charges for the $90.91 on my Vanilla gift card. The only notification that came across my screen was that the payment was declined. This made no sense as I knew there was ample funds on the gift card. I made multiple calls prior to Woman Within customer service to discuss how I could get this rectified and each time I was told how sorry they were but that the money should be back on my gift card within 24 hrs or 2-3 days. One Woman Within person suggested that I apply for the Woman Within credit card so that I could buy the items I was trying to purchase. No, just no. This was prior to my conversation with the Vanilla gift card customer service representative who stated that it would take longer…in fact a week to get the funds back onto my gift card. The last call to Woman Within was the most disturbing yet insightful. I explained again (4th time) to a Woman Within customer service person who stated that the reason my transaction could not be completed was because I was using a Vanilla gift card and those could not be used. I asked where this was stated on their site. She could not tell me. I requested to speak to a manager/supervisor who could explain this to me. However, when the supervisor got on the phone, he stated that they DO accept this type of payment and that he would speak with the employee who told me this. He stated however that my gift card had to be “registered” with my information for it to be accepted. Again, this is not stated on their website or on the checkout screen. I was not provided any offer of compensation or remedy for this situation. I am required to wait a full week for money to be returned to my card while I still have no merchandise that I was trying to purchase.

Desired outcome: Everyone should know what acceptable payment methods for transactions. If people who work for the company aren’t sure of how gift card transactions work or accepted, don’t place a higher expectation on customers.

Woman Within Damaged shirt to be returned

I contacted customer service regarding a shirt that I had just received. When I opened the package it appears to be used, dirty feeling and has wrinkles on the back of the shirt as if someone has worn it. Not folding wrinkles, wrinkles as if someone has been leaning back and the wrinkles go cross wise of the shirt. I contacted customer support [protected] from the telephone # on the front of the catalog, they issued paper work back for me to return, BUT there was a 10.99 processing fee to return the damaged shirt! I explained that I would not pay a "FEE" to return something that was used when I purchased a "NEW" shirt. I was told "do not worry I have made note of the problem and when it is received you will not be charged the fee". I explained that I wanted in writing that the shirt was being return due to "DAMAGE" and there should be no fee. I was told that this was how it was done and they could do nothing about "how they processed refunds". Again I said NO I wanted corrected paper work stating that the shirt was being returned due to it being "USED/DAMAGED" not just returned! They still said "do not worry!

Desired outcome: I want corrected paper work stating that their product is being returned due to damage or what ever they call it with no processing fee attached and at this point I do not want a replacement, just FULL REFUND to my credit card.

Woman Within Credit card accounts

Through Community Bank who hold the credit card accounts for businesses such as Famous Footwear and Women Within and others. Community Bank closed my Famous Footwear account without issue even sent me the letter stating that my account was closed with a zero balance. I chose to also close my Women Within account as well back in end of January 2023. I was told I would be mailed the same letter I had requested for my Famous Footwear account. Instead, I am sent a bill in March for a $16.00 fee. So they tell me they can only take half of the fee off and if pay the remaining $8.00 dollars my account would be at a zero balance, and I would no longer owe anything and that they knew the account was closed in January. Fast forward to July they still have not sent me my letter stating my women within account is closed with a zero balance. They keep charging $ 8.00 a month on a closed account. They refuse to send me my letter stating my account has been closed and has been since January. I am not the only one having this issue. I will not pay a monthly fee on a closed account. When on the phone with them this morning because they call daily even though I tell them the same thing I have now put out here. Don't be scammed. I have no issues with Women Within or Famous Footwear just with Community Bank.

Desired outcome: I want my letter of closed account with zero balance but more importantly I want you get your accounting department in order and stop charging people when their accounts are closed.

Woman Within No credit for returns, etc.

I had a credit limit of $200. I ordered a few things, and made a few payments of $30. I then ordered two pairs of shorts, and ended up returning one. I got confirmation on the tracking through the post office, that it was delivered back to them. I got zero credit for returning them. I tried to talk to customer service, and literally no one would help me. Everyone said it wasn't their Department. I had a balance of $111. Then I started getting bombarded with phone calls and letters demanding payment, and still no one would give me credit for the shorts I returned, or even talk to me about it on the phone. Website online was a dead end as well. I kept telling them I wasn't going to make another payment until I saw credit for the shorts that I returned, and that I knew for a fact they had received. They just kept coming after me for their money, which just kept growing and growing and growing. Fast forward to today, I just got served paperwork, because they started the process so that they can garnish my wages for what they are saying is now $532 that I owe them. Really wish I would have believed all the reviews that I saw, and steered clear of them!

Desired outcome: Credit my return, and I'll pay what I actually owe...not 5 times the amount.

Woman Within email gift card

On 6/16/2023 I purchased a $100 gift card using my email address as sender to my daughter's email address. As of today's date 6/20/2023 she had not received it.

I called to question it and they said it was being "processed" even though it had all ready cleared my credit card. I was then referred to a solution center which stated they needed verification from me that I had sent it and did not have my email address or phone number on file. This is ludicrous, as my email was the sender and they send me advertisements all the time on my emai. Very poor quality of service.

Woman Within Woman Within Rewards Membership

I am being fraudulently charged for a rewards program membership that I never signed up for. Who would? The very idea of it makes no sense. Would you pay for an airline loyalty program? Of course not. Loyalty rewards should be the company paying to you! Not the other way around.

And, when I called the Woman Within loyalty phone number, the woman on the phone said she wouldn’t speak to me because I couldn’t give her the address listed on the membership. I gave her mine but that ‘wasn’t the correct address’. Of course I can’t provide the address listed on the rewards program! I never signed up for this, to begin with! So, I am not only out the money they have been charging me, I can’t stop them from doing this to me … or you… in the future.

Ughhh! This is infuriating!

Desired outcome: I want Woman With to refund all the money that they have been taking out of my credit card!

Woman Within Called us claiming we owed them $500

Number one. My mom did not receive a credit card from these people. My mom did try to get a credit card from these people. But they never sent the credit card. Number two. They called memorial day Sunday claiming she owed them $500. I took the phone and demand to know why mom owed $500. And I told the woman that mom never ordered recently from these people. She got really dead silent.

Woman Within Quality of clothing and return policies

I received 2 tops and 2 pairs of leggings. The quality of all is very substandard. The tops did not fit...and I tried to get a return mailing label for them, thinking I could make do with the leggings. Nope. Wore the leggings for 15 minutes and the crotch was sagging, very heavy/uncomfortable fabric, Now am being advised I can return them myself (me pay postage) and ask for a credit for $54 worth of garbage. Do not buy from this company

Woman Within Return refund

I recently returned two pairs of pants and was not given a total refund. One was not even half of what I paid for the order. I am reporting this to the better business bureau and if they ever have a mass lawsuit for money you have apparently stolen from many returns, I'll be joining. This occured just last week 4/19/2023 - 4/21/23. I have emails confirming what I paid and what I received back, but it wouldn't let me post them to this page. I am happy to send them if needed.

Woman Within Incorrect order..

The person on the phone didn’t know what he was doing saying that they were all out of the item and when I questioned him about being out of every size and every color he said yes. I asked him to placed the order for the weekend trace luggage and he said he placed it. When my order came there was no luggage and the item I placed was wrong I ordered the sandals size 13www the invoice stated 13www but the seal bag that the sandals were in stated size 9m. He also became rude and hostile because I couldn’t understand him his English is very poor.

Woman Within Service

I placed an order for underwear then I decided I should have ordered 2.So I ordered a 2nd package of the same product and I was charged 2 different prices order minutes apart. When I received I was not satisfied so I return both orders.The bill said I owe $94.94 so I called to see if they received the 2 packages back and they did. So I waited about a week. And they said I still owe $66.94 I only owe the return cost. But they keep giving me the run around.saying they gave me a gift card. I canceled the card and I refuse to pay all this money for nothing. I will pay the shipping and handling but not a penny more. They are a rip off.

Desired outcome: Just tell me the shipping charge on th $94.49.and I should not be charged for separate delivery just the cost for $94’49 which I think is $20.00

Woman Within Product exchange - order #[protected]

I returned 2 pairs of 7-Day Knit Pants in February and requested an exchange for a different size. I was told could take 2 to 3 weeks to complete the transaction.

Time slipped by and I realized I had not received my order. I went to your website and sent a message to Customer Service inquiring why I had not received my order. I never received a response.

I called Customer Service and was told that they had issue a credit on my credit card account. Why? I DID NOT request a credit – I specifically told you to exchange the pants for a different size. Why didn’t you send them?

I checked my credit statement; it showed that I has received a credit – but it was not for the full amount. I called again and I was told there was a fee for returns.

It was not a RETURN – it was an EXCHANGE! According to information on your website exchanges are free. Why am I being penalized for your mistake?

I have been long-time customer. I can’t believe you will not properly resolve this issue. I should have received my pants; not a credit. Since you took it upon yourself to issue a credit – it should have been for the total amount. I should not have been penalized for your stupidity.

Desired outcome: I would like to receive the full refund.It would really be nice if you would send me the pants at no charge.

Woman Within Theft of my credit (64.xx)

In June of 2022 i returned items purchased. Apparently a credit of $64.xx was issued via a gift card. I never received the email with the magic code to use the credit (gift card). On several occasions I emailed women within inquiring how do I go about applying the credit (on checkout via internet)- I did not receive a reply. Fast forward to yesterday - I called to inquire about using credit (gift card). I was told that since I did not have the magic code I could not access the credit and furthermore the credit no longer appears after 90 days.

Women within keeps referring to the terms and conditions but I never received the magic email - The retailer should have issued a check to me for the credit if I did not redeem the money. That is what responsible retailers do. I was essentially told to go pound sand. THIS IS THEFT. UNACCEPTABLE.

Desired outcome: ISSUE A CHECK FOR THE $64.XX (as most retailers do).

Woman Within Poor customer service

I ordered a maxi skirt that is available in 3 different lengths. I ordered 3 of the incorrect length. They arrived on 3/23/23. I called to exchange them and was given a QR Code to return them but was told the 50% off coupon I used could not be used for the reorder. I was transferred to Jennet who was able to reorder the length that I wanted at a price I was willing to pay. $59.91. She advised me that they were on back order until 6/14/23. Today, 3/30/23

I received 3 of the same length that I returned. (36 inches) I spoke to 3 reps, none of whom could help me.

Supervisor Javier, Agent ID# 30252 could not grasp the concept that it is the same skirt just at different lengths.

I want a QR code to return the items that I don't want.

I want the items that I do want at the price that was quoted to me on 3/23/23.

The order# that I received from Jannett is [protected].

The price quoted was $59.91.

I would like 3 of item # [protected] size 1X / all 3 black

Woman Within Refund

In October 2022 I purchased a denim jacket, and returned it November 6, 2022. I kept getting statements and each time a late fee was applied. I started contacting customer service and kept getting the run around. All they told me was they issued a merchandise credit. Finally in March 2023 I talked to Sabrina and she stated that I was still receiving the statement because I still owed for the jacket. She stated that the merchandise credit does not take care of the cost of the jacket. No one I talked to mentioned that. I told her I wanted all the late fees and interest taken off, and I would pay for the jacket. She stated that could not be done. She said I have to pay all those late fees and interest charges. The total is over $200.00 now and the jacket was under $30.00. I do not owe these fees. When I returned the jacket I asked that the amount be put back on the credit card I used. They did not do that. Can you please help me? Thank you.

Desired outcome: All late fees and interest charges taken off and I will pay for the jacket.

Woman Within Returning shoes for credit from Women Within using Happy Returns method

I purchased shoes 10/6/22 from Womanwithin order #[protected] for $66.13. I returned the shoes on10/28/2022 to a Fed Ex Happy Returns site,1249 Capitol Dr., Pewaukee, Wi. and was told I would receive $52.49 credit for my return.

After several weeks and no correspondence of my credit I called Woman Within and was told they had issued a gift card for my credit with this number #[protected] and pin#1975.

When trying to use these numbers a few days later I could only get .34 cents of credit to my purchase applied using all of the id numbers.

I called Womanwithin and after lengthy waits I got many replys. One was I had used the gift credit already, I had not. One was someone ordered pants from an East Coast address but returned them? I had not. Now they tell me the gift card was stolen and can't be replaced so I get nothing.

I now only correspond by email since I refuse to waste time on a phone call

anymore. I want my money back. Please help! Ruth E.Picotte

Woman Within My account with women within

In October 2022 I purchased a jacket. In November 2022 I returned that jacket. I was under the impression by doing this, my account would end up zero. Well, it wasn't. I have been trying to get this problem resolved for 5 months now. I have talked to so many people at Women Within, and no none will take care of this for me. No one told me that instead of putting the return back on my card like I requested, they issued a merchandise credit instead. I did not find out until today, March 8, 2023, that because it was a merchandise credit that the original purchase still shows as owing. This is why all these months they have been charging late fees to the tune of $192.00. I want these fees reversed. You can transfer the merchandise credit to the balance to pay for the jacket. I really do not care how you have to do it, I just want my account to be zero. This problem was not caused by me. Today, March 8th I talked to 9 different people who each stated they could not help me and would transfer me to someone else who could not help me. The last person I talked to named Sabrina hung up on me and did not call back. This sure is not good customer service. Please let me know when this is taken care of. Thank you.

Desired outcome: I want the $192 reversed from my account and my account closed.

Woman Within Refused to refund defective merchandise

I ordered a skirt. When I washed it (according to the washing instructions), it shrunk unevenly, so the hem was about 6 inches shorter in some areas than others. I returned it, and they refused to refund my purchase because I had washed it. I disputed it with my credit card company, and the credit card company gave me the money back. However, I just received a letter from a collection agency about this, so I guess they haven't given up, and now plan to ruin my credit rating instead of admitting that they sold a defective item.

I am so annoyed with how they acted that I have stopped ordering anything from not only Woman Within, but also all of the other catalogs from the same family of brands. I expect the companies I deal with to behave more responsibly. Selling defective merchandise is NOT ok, and expecting the customer to take the loss is even worse!

Desired outcome: They should drop the collection agency and leave me alone.

Woman Within Refunds and Billing

I placed 4 orders last year. Returned 3 of the orders. I kept one order out of 4 totalling $32.97. I've made multiple calls since last year. Keep getting switched from one department to another. Customer service people were rude, laughed at me, totally didn't attempt to correct their mistakes. I'm still being charged for returned orders, not been credited yet for one either. Told them I don't want their e gift card give me my refund. Correct credit to zero balance. I've paid to date $144.00 for $32.97 order. Being charged late fees multiple times and still being billed for March. This company is ridiculous. I have copies of orders returned and billing statements that are wrong.

Desired outcome: Credit card corrected to zero balance. Late fees taken off and I want my refund back to my debit card asap.
