Shabby work, check out Window Seal West's website for more details. I noticed some issues with the tops of the doors, they look unfinished and not very nice. On the day I was supposed to give my final measurements and submit the deposit, I had to cancel because of unexpected circumstances. The response I got from the company was quite unprofessional, with some not-so-nice words. I definitely won't be hiring them again. I've learned my lesson and will support local businesses instead. Thanks for the lesson, Window Seal West.

Window Seal West did a total two-level window replacement of the original units in my older house, and they finished the job in just a day and a half. What really impressed me about this company and why I give them five stars is the skill and expertise of the installation crew. These guys were able to handle the unexpected issues that came up due to the unique framing of older homes, and they still managed to complete the job on time and make it look great.

This is the second time I have used Window Seal West. I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I am with this company. The first time, they replaced two bedroom windows, and they also made screens for windows that we purchased from another company that didn't fit, never fit and the company would not come back to remeasure and make new ones! These fit perfectly and they never charged us for this service. The second time we had four windows replaced in our basement. One was an egress window. Window Seal West was simply amazing, digging out the hole, replacing cement, it was perfect! The other two gentlemen replaced the other three windows in less than 6 hours, cleaned up after themselves and you would never have known there were there. I give this company five stars, they are incredible! Thank you to John, our sales representative and Mike and his team!

We had Window Seal West come yesterday to replace 5 windows in our home. The total experience with this company is awesome! The sales rep Adam gave us very detailed information about their products, invited us to tour their manufacturing facilities and check on their products in showroom, and gave us a competitive quote. After signing the contract, Anthony came to do the measuring of each window to be replaced and after the installation it turned out his measurements are extremely accurate for all five windows! Then yesterday came the installers Orestes and Igor, who worked effectively and attended to all details, finished the installation in one day, cleaned all working areas inside and outside. We are glad we have hired such a good windows company in Calgary, and would recommend it to all Calgarians. Thank you again, Adam, Anthony, Orestes, and Igor, for a job well done!

I tried to get a quote from Window Seal West, but their "customer service" was not helpful. First, they didn't call me as they said they would, but instead sent me an email asking me to call them back. When I called, the customer service person seemed more concerned about my information, even though they already had it because they had emailed me. They didn't listen to me and kept explaining the non-existent call three times, blaming it on a bad connection. I asked to speak to a manager five times before a supervisor finally came on, who also went back to asking for my information. I asked again to speak to a manager, and they told me that their company is picky. Honestly, I think it's the customers who should be picky about this company. It was clear that it was a disorganized call center that couldn't handle real questions. If they can't be organized or listen to a customer who wants to do business with them, how can they be trusted to do a good job? It was a waste of my time. Avoid this company.

We never seen such a bad representation of a business as we have by Max the sales person who dealt with us. He came to our home to provide a quote for an exterior door. He was not very professional in his dealings with us. Seemed disorganized at the time of our meeting. We waited for over 12 weeks for our door and side light to arrive and be installed. We were contacted once to state that the original size of door we requested could not be found and the side light could not be as promised. After the long wait for our door the installers came at a later time than arranged, due to their claim of vehicle issues (after 6:00 p.m.) and did not leave our residence until after 11:00 pm. This is not professional service at all. The door and side light were not correct. Color was wrong and was verified as wrong by the manufacturer of the door. Side light too was even more wrong than previously discussed. Max (salesperson) was not in any way going to rectify the issue but said he could come and take out the door. Bottom line is he did not honor the signed contract. In the future we will not deal with Window Seal West in any way. We will not recommend them to anyone.

I don't recommend using this company. We bought all new windows with this company. They were quick to come give the quote and they wanted Etransfer asap for payment. Which I sent asap. Once they got the money that’s when things changed. Months later we got the windows installed however within 2 weeks every single window failed. We let them know asap they came to look again many months later. They said it was there manufacture why the windows all failed and they would be replacing them. Ok fine! It happens! Keep in mind this was 2020 in 2021 they finally came to replace 4 of the 7 windows because the guy forgot some and broke some on his way. Well 2 of those 4 windows failed again within 2 weeks. Wait some more guy comes back to confirm they failed once again. It’s now 2023 and I’ve called every month asking what’s going on and they tell me my windows are ready but they only have 1 installer and he’s making money in Calgary. So where does that leave us? I had to comment on Facebook to warn others of our experience to get a reply. They have promised me date after date when they will be calling with a install date and I’m still waiting for this scheduled date. Not professional at all. I wish we went with a local company in Prince Albert as this has been dragged on way to long. Now I’m afraid they will come install but will fail again as we are now into the 3rd set of windows all failing prior. (Failing as you can’t see through the glass very foggy and moisture between the glass) triple pain windows is what we bought. Do your research before choosing a glass company and read reviews. Lesson learnt.

I am really disappointed with Window Seal West. I initially gave them 5 stars, but now I have to share my experience. The first installation crew did a terrible job. They didn't use any shims to support or center the windows, and they filled the gaps with clear silicone, which was not good. The installation manager agreed that it needed to be fixed. The original installers said it would only take a couple of hours, but it ended up taking them 11 hours into the next day. I have pictures of their poor workmanship, but I will only post pictures of the repairs they made.

To their credit, the repairs were much better. However, the following week, when it got cold, I noticed that the patio door and bedroom windows had ice on them. The installation manager came back and said it was because of lack of insulation in the room. He agreed to replace the patio door and master bedroom window, but didn't commit to replacing the spare bedroom window. He said it would take about a week to get the new patio door and window. However, it's now March 25th and no work has been done. I messaged the installation manager a couple of times, but he said he would contact me when they are ready. I finally called the office and found out that they only have the master bedroom window and nothing was processed for the patio door. They wanted to install the one window this weekend, but I declined because I didn't want multiple trips for repairs.

I used SNAP financial for the financing, and Window Seal West received their money before starting the work. I paid $6000 for this and I am extremely disappointed. The original installers even damaged my newly painted cabinets and didn't bother taking off their boots in my house. They also never wore masks or asked if I wanted them to. I have pictures of the thick ice on my new windows.

The timeline they gave for the repairs was good, but that's the only positive thing I can say about this company. The first time they sent an inexperienced installer, and the windows and patio door were not square and wouldn't close properly. They had to send a second crew to reinstall everything. It looked better after that. However, when we had our siding replaced, we found out that the windows were not installed according to code. They didn't use proper water repellent, only spray foam and silicone. This caused water damage behind the siding, which now needs to be repaired by another company, costing me hundreds of dollars extra.

I called today and was told that the installation manager would call me back, but I haven't received any calls. I have attached a picture of the water damage on my plywood. If I could give negative stars, I definitely would.
