Anyone who takes a "job" here is very confused as to what this actually is- a very bizarre office supply selling pyramid scheme. No sick days, vacation, or even SALARY. They say they pay for health insurance, but thats a lie, they help you get your own health insurance plan that you pay 100% of. You are told to lie to businesses and espeically to new hires. The average person works there for 3 days to 2 weeks. The paychecks that are commision only mysteriously are never what they are supposed to be, and often dont even cover the gas and cell phone expenses you spent during that time. ANYONE would be better off working at McDonald's, you'll make way more money. Look at other reports for a more thorough description of the scam known as "VMI" "Cydcor" or "Marketing Sessions (all the same scam based out of Oak Brook, Illinois.

omg, i just got a call from them in the morning. i missed the call so i called back. The lady who picked up the call said tina who called me is busy. So i told her, Tina called me and left me a message of the phone. The lady on the other end, was like ok, i will get her and placed me on hold. Tina answers and it was just the strangest call i ever got.
All she said was she is from VMI and told me that i applied for this position(which i never did). I just posted a resume up on careerbuiler yesterday.
She asked me what type of job i was looking for? I said adminstrative. she said i have an opening. So i asked her what kind of position? She said marketing excutive and that all she said. She said she will email the details of the position to me. She also set up a time for me to come in.

I got the email. Which just states the address, direction and time that i come in to meet with them. The email did not have a person name that i can refer back to nor details on the position or title of the position. It was not a professional email. Scam was written all over it.

so i looked them up on google. Everything that popped up said scam on it.

thank you

I work there for 5 months and it was the worst experience of my life. I was working a great job making a little over 50, 000 a year but didnt really like it very much thought i would see what else is out there. VMI called me in for a inverview the second i put my resume online, how about that? i went it did my interview and was told great thing of how much money i would make and how this is just a step to owning my own company, i thought hey not to bad if you can promise me i will make the same money i do now. they said yes but it is straight commision we talk for a while i told them i cant work on straight commission so i got a based of about 600 a week plus 10% of what i sold and bounes. so i started this plan lasted about 2 weeks till i went to 500 a week 10% and only web bonues. than after a months 500 a week and no bonues or i could go to straight commision. i took straight commission at this point. i had 3 people on my team i was one person away from owning my own office than i started to relize how terrible all this was i was making half of what i used to make i had more bills because i had to pay for my own gas and phone (dont let them tell you any differnt) and i was lying to people who applied there about how much i make. i used what i had to my advantage of going door 2 door into a door 2 door interview and luckly found a great job that tripled my pay and is not a scam. I liked everyone i worked with i just didnt like the company, when i quit everyone in management turned there back on me and put me down about my new job i explained that it just wasnt working and that i couldnt afford to work there and they still just put me down. they are all a bunch of greety lying [censor]s, i promise you will not become rich working there and if you do its because you were a great lier and i promise that it will be short lived and you will ruin your credit on the way.

100 percent agree..keep your chin up "vmi employees", someday you'll be rich, gaining valuable experience on how to use unethical marketing strategies and watch the smiles of many honest business people turn to anger over all the wonderful things " they" can do for you. Buyer Beware! Now you guys go lie cheat and steal to be successful, because I'm going to the Aquarium today. At least Ill get something out of my day..

Wow. I just got a call from VMI (It said so on the caller ID, along with the same exact number you posted). I checked it out here and now I know what they are.

Thanks! I'm glad I didn't pick up. I hate dealing with telemarketers.
