I had the worst experiance with them. Avoid at all cost.

Recently, I had an experience with Viva Seguros that left me frustrated. It seems like every day they refuse to answer our phone calls. The people handling our insurance claim have a terrible attitude, as if they don't care about our situation. We are already dealing with so much, and their lack of assistance only makes things worse.

I got hit on 11/25 by someone who is insured by this company. It's now 2/1/2022 and the company nor the assigned adjuster to my claim has answered one email or one phone call of the many I have sent or left. I have submitted the claim with all asked documents.

On May 18, I had a car accident with *** insurance carrier. It's been a few days now, and my car still hasn't been fixed. A few days ago, the adjuster came, but I haven't been able to reach him since ***. That's the adjuster's number. Here's the info: *** case number 21txp0001489 ***. I just want my car fixed or some money to buy a new one.

In June , I made a claim with Viva Seguros. My vehicle got totaled, and they said they would pick it up the next day from where it was towed. But nobody came to get it, and the following night, my car, along with another vehicle and part of the mechanic shop, got involved in a fire. Because of this, Viva Seguros wanted me to file two claims instead of one. I told them I would only pay one deductible because if they had done their job and picked up the car on time, it wouldn't have been in the fire. Since then, they keep sending me paperwork for both claims. I've tried to contact them to fix the problem, but they always send me to voicemail, decline my calls, or hang up on me. I call Viva Seguros every day, at least 3-6 times, but nobody ever gets back to me. Now, they're sending me letters saying my claim has been dropped because I didn't cooperate in finding a settlement. My adjuster, ***, never answers the phone and sends me to her supervisor, ***, who also never answers. And now, *** is also avoiding my calls.

Let me start by sharing the traumatic event that led me to seek their assistance. On March 20, 2022, I was driving my car when I was unexpectedly shot at. Two bullets struck my passenger front and back doors, causing significant damage. It was a horrifying experience, and I naively believed that the worst was behind me. Little did I know that dealing with this insurance company would prove to be an even greater challenge.

When it came time to cover the repairs, Viva Seguros attempted to shortchange me by offering a mere $100 check. This was despite the fact that they had received two estimates and a supplement clearly stating that the repairs would far exceed that amount. They callously disregarded my situation, leaving me to drive around for months with bullet holes in my car. The thought of being at risk of another shooting due to their negligence was truly alarming.

It became evident that this company lacked any genuine concern for their customers. Frustrated and desperate for a resolution, I had no choice but to involve a lawyer and draft a lawsuit against them. Only then did they finally take my case seriously. Reluctantly, they sent an appraiser to inspect my vehicle in person, after initially denying my request for one. The appraiser, perhaps realizing the gravity of the situation, attempted to downplay the necessary repairs. However, having already consulted multiple experts and endured months of this ordeal, I knew exactly what my car required. Eventually, the appraiser conceded and agreed to the needed repairs.

Now, three months have passed since the incident, and I wanted to wait until I had concluded my dealings with Viva Seguros before writing this review. I wanted to provide a fair and honest assessment for others. Regrettably, I have decided to cancel my insurance policy with this company. Their abysmal customer service has left me utterly disgusted. Despite their claims of prioritizing customer satisfaction, my experience has shown that they do not value their customers in the slightest.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against entrusting your insurance needs to Viva Seguros. Their lack of empathy, disregard for customer well-being, and overall incompetence make them an unreliable and untrustworthy choice. Spare yourself the frustration and disappointment by seeking insurance coverage elsewhere.
