We are regularly Watching the office serial. Now after the closing of Mahabaratham the office serial is modied the timing from 10. pm to 10.30 pm . But we are unable to see regularly the late night would affect the tiredness kindly change the office serial time to 10 pm instead of 10.30 pm

I have read the entire thread here.. However, what all of you have thought has come true and Alka has bagged the title.. No doubt that there was some internal politics going around here.. The show has lost its genuinity and its truly dissapointing to see such results..

Shravan, though was not extremely well in the begining, had given his best during the semi-finals and the finals.. But why Alka?

Truly bad.. Roshan also did his best meanwhile.. Priyanka would have been the best competitor for Alka.. Now its no use talking about this crapppppp...

Hi firstly I would like to introduce myself as a Singaporean.
I am following up on this super singer since forever.
And I am apallaed at how easy it is for the people in India to decide the winner.
It is obvious that people who are TRULY TALENTED didnt get in the wildcard.
Namely, Priyanka and Sri Nisha.
Bearing in my Vijay Tv is ALSO shown in other countries I would like to remind you all of the honesty that should be intact.

An intense round like wildcard shouldnt be placed in the hands of audience if they are only rooting for entertainment which they believed could be provided by Srikanth.
I strongly feel that Mano has realised that the judges choices of even bringing Srikanth into the widlcard though he wasnt supossed to has backfired big time.

I hope the judges take it seriously and not leave the talented ones to be out.
Girls like SriNisha and Priyanka are BY CLEAR proof they are worth finals.
Remembering your show name SUPER SINGER and not SUPER DANCER/SUPER ENTERTAINER is the first step Vijay tv can take to avoid discrepancies or you will eventually ruin the kids future or your shows genuine factor.

It is definitely heartwrenching for the real supporters supporting for real singers.
Its not about who I like but rather who should deserve it.
A competion means competition with strict rules/regulations if you are going to be flexible about skipping elimination or taking in more than your supposed to(Incident where Mano took Srikanth in for wildcard) then do realise this show will definitely not being the essence of it.

Priyanka and Srinisha who are clearly SINGERS deserving standing ovation has been eliminated because people in India have voted such.And even if they do I believe that stats should be shown.
I am an Indian and am proud that there are so many young talents in my Motherland but do also see to it that, there's always going to be THE BEST. And so instead of using kids as gimmicks I believe you should start realising that you've clearly lost the best .

I do hope Vijay Tv would even try to bring up the channel's realiability.

People wouldn't be making so much of issue if the real talented ones got in, the fact that there are people mentioning PRIYANKA AND SRINISHA says alot!

Nithiya shree is the best of all. Alka is putting up an act to be humble. I hated her after the elimination of Priyanka her only rival for melody. Priyanka is a hundred times better that alka in her melody she was the only person alka fear so she was more than happy when Priyanka got eleminated. on air she pretented to be sad that Priyanka was going but she was actually giggling and was captured many viewers would have saw it. nithiya my whole family will vote for you are the best.

selecting shrikanth for the finals is ridiculous. i couldnt tolerate this shameful decision. public were not deaf and dump to select him for the finals while excellent singers like priyanka sowmya were there in the race already. it is not the public decision. it is truly chitra and manos decision.

i was really disappointed when srikanth got into wild card round as 6th contestant.he is a small kid n he has a long way to go. but why are everyone so partial towards him? just because he has got lots of votes why should he become a finalist? he might be a prodigy..but he didnt sing that well in wild card round. i wanted any of the talented kids like priyanka or nithyashree or prassana to come! the judges are terrible...! i just hope shravan or nithyashri win the finals... shravan is the best of all n he has not restricted himself to any one genre. he has progressed n improved a lot.

Isaignanani Ilayaraja gave a wonderfull song to Chitra( padariyen) which rose her to gr8 heights from an ordinary singer. Did he ever have second thoughts in encouraging a new singer from another state. He is a TRUE MUSICIAN. Ultimately loyal to his music. That is a mark of a good proffessional. Blindly supporting alka and turning deaf ears to other contestants is wrong. Hope chitra and learn their MORAL SCIENCE well.

I voted for priyanka . I normally dont waste money and time on such programs but priyanka's voice and singing made me send sms ssj21. She was fabulous. And moreover being a sensitive woman myself I feel it is very discouraging for a 10 year girl to undergo such sabotage at such an young age despite being immensely talented and gifted. I have seen episodes of her singing and her voice has the magical effect of P.susheela's voice ... It was irritating to see mano and chitra saying " little more feel ... nalla sapdanum... " ...Shud ask them close their eyes and listen to her singing...

I have seen chitra and mano constantly not appreciating a wonderfull singer like her. By now she must have got the feeling that she is not up to the mark of others, which is definitely not the TRUTH... she is very well ahead of others... thats the truth.

I hope she wins the title simply because she DESERVES it and NOT BECAUSE ...
1. she is not a 6 and year old kid like srikanth
2. she does not dance like Nithya shri
3. She is not a malayali
4. she is not prefered by mano and chitra...

Now the wild card singers are doing their best.These children were frightened by the judges and they could not perform well due to fear. But now they are doing their best with out fear because now the public are the judges. Among them Priyanka is awsome. She is good in all aspects. Because of the judges partility they have selcted three people who are not too good.They cannot compete with the six children in the wild card. Judges are keen on giving the title to Alka hence they do'nt want a better singer to compete with her. The public knows that Priyanka is the best. If you want to know who is best close your eyes and hear the song sung by both Priyanka and Alka. you will know who is the best.
The voting results should not be fabricated to elevate Alka. Please do it with a clean heart.

I am not that brainy towards music.But I really loved to hear Priyanka singing.I was bit disappointed when she got eliminated when she had sore throat.Even Sahana... Something moves in my heart when she sings.Such a expressive kid.

I totally agree. Vijay tv is always biased towards malayalis. The judges Chithra and Mano always praise alka and roshan even if they dont perform well. They always wanted alka to win, and of course she s going to bag the 25laks. Alka sings well. But all she does is imitating. Sahana, Sowmya r very good singers and obviously better than alka. I feel this program is staged. Even in super singer season 2, Ravi deserved the title, but they gave it to Ajesh, they made him win.. Audience voting etc r just to fool people.. And to talk about the anchor, Divya, she s awful. She doesnt know to compere, she keeps repeating the same words, searching for words all the time. And yes, again, she is a malayali, they cant get rid off her.
This program is staged guys. We cannot do anything about it.

Iam very big fan of Vijay TV programmes especially Airtel Super Singer. But this time I am very much disappointed with judges, especially Chitha and Mano. They focused alone alkha. It's extremely ridiculous. Priyanka is such a melody singer. She sings in her own way with perfect rendition. But alkha just copying chithra, Janaki amma and Suseela Amma's voice. People who are performing on stage can do this very well. But judges have to find out who has real talent in music. Participant should sing in their own way, even though not influenced in carnatic music they should perform in their own way. Priyanka does very good job in that. Sahana, Prasanna sunder and Shri hari are all such a well based in carnatic simngers, but alkha is never doing the way other participant doing good. Im very much sure, Alka is not deserve for title. Why judges elevate her is because she is malayali. But no tamizh people win title in Malayalam channel. Because they are very clear in this matter. But we never support our people. I promise Alkha cannot touch sahana's performance. Nithya shree and Shri nisha they kids are singing kinds of songs whether it may be melody or fast song, whatever it is they just rocking. Alkha cannot come close to their performence. Sri hari and Prasanna Sunder they are terrific performers, what a voice, what a shruthi, what a pitch, what a voice modulation, what a tough songs they choose, chanceless performence. I can say in any court Alkha cannot even think to touch their performence. I am very much disappointed with this intoxicating judgment of Chithra mam. There chithra mam dominates other judges. Mano sir plays as clown for children in the dress of judge. Making fun is good but his decision never plays value there, and Shuba mam also just copying other two judges comments. She put the same matter in the different cover. That's it. So Chithra mam alone dominates there in judgement. She supports her state people with convenient. This time If alkha win the title Im sure me and my relative and friends would never watch Supersinger in future. Sahana must come back to the stage or priyanka and Shri hari should select in wild card round. In the final Shravan or Priyanka or Shri hari should win the title. Otherwise it would be injustice. Because. they insist the people indirectly but for sure vote for alkha. And in wild card also they insist indirectly vote for Shri kanth. It should never happen. Priyanka or shrihari must be selected in wild card, and real talent kid like shravan, priyanka and shrihari should win the title. Definitely not Alkha. Alkha may be doing well job but compare to other performers Alkha's talent is very low. Just copying is not real music talent.

many commented the judgment, i also feel the same. 100 national awards become a showcase object when you earn the audience hatenes. I am not sure if that was a stage for junior singer or for real racist judges.
The damage is done, people will attend the finals but there will be a scar left, for sure that will be due to the manipulated judgment for their own cast. Matured great musicians behaved like kids.
The judges was talking feel of song but they forgot to see the feeling of children when they made one sided judgment. I think 99% will support my statement.
The Damage is done VIJAY TV and AIRTEL. Jointly would have found AIRTEL SUPERSINGER Jr2, but with this kind of JUDGEMENT for sure the audience has lost confidence. It started with box office hit and ending up with the sad note. THE MOST EFFECTED BY THIS WAS THE KIDS AND THEIR PARENTS I PITTY THEM. WHAT A SHAME.

we have been watching airtel super right 4m the beginning. its a wonderful platform for young kids to showcase their talent. the show has become predictable with the judges spot selecting alka and roshan everytime irespective of their performance. we end up loosing better talented kids in every round. alka and roshan have excellent voice but restricted only to melody genre. both of them always stick to slow melodies and they never attempt folk or western. the judges are biased towards alka and roshan. this is evident from the standing ovation given unnecessarily (God only knows why for 'marudhani' song) . kids like shravan, shrinisha, nithyashree, prasanna sundar, sahana have shown tremendous improvement whereas alka and roshan have tried nothing new and have become stale. they are not versatile but the judges conveniently forget to point out alka and roshan's monotonous singing. i feel that this is not the right way to select the super singer!

I also agree that They are favouring only malayalee's and Vijay Tv needs to take a step on this to change the Judges . They are not seeing the singing talent and giving wrong comments .

Serious step needs to be taken . Else people will not see your program .. and u are cheating the audience and it is like match fixing

In my view many people stopped seeing this show after roshan is being elevated without any good reason. I was surprised when my friends too said the same.

I am a fan of vijay tv, but in this case i stopped seeing the show long back when not so goog candidate roshan is selected. I am sure its not affinity to others, just the comman man's common sense that the judgment is being biased very obviously

alka is an excellent singer...there have been some poor judgements...but many singers like srinivas, mahathi, shalini, unni menon, janaki, jensi, harish ragavendra, anuradha sriram, unni krishnan have come to the show and agreed that alka is excellent...so its unfair to say that she must not win bcos she is mallu or she is over qualified...she is truly talented..vijay tv rocks

I watch the programme regularly. What I have noted is the judges are biased and wanted to give the title to Alka. Even when Alka makes mistake the judges say Alka is very good she didn’t make any mistake, she sang very well adjusting the music and didn’t miss sruthi. But when others sing even when they are good these judges say that ‘ange inge’ they missed something ‘rendu moonu idathilae ’without mentioning what mistake they did, they should have raised their voice and kept the mike closer to the mouth, making small mistake very big, only air comes while singing and frighten them and ask them to sing again and again and ridicule them. When Alka sings they don’t say anything instead they praise her. They have eliminated Priyanka who is the main competitor for Alka that is why Priyanka’s father didn’t thank the judges. After her Shree Nisha and Nithyasree knows they will be easily eliminated and started singing very good pep songs to attract people. Priyanka must be given re-entry then only it will be a good and healthy competition. The judges themselves should quit and allow the audience to choose. Next to Priyanka Roshan is good. Without Priyanka the competition will not be complete Mano and Chithra are good singes no doubt but they are very bad judges. They don’t know how to judge. More over Mr Ananth Vaidhyanathan is not giving any comment and not asked to do so. I don’t know why the organizers are keeping silent and don’t comment on this. They should also open their mouth.

I am visvanathan. Last Thursdays’ program is nice but we feel very sad to sea our cute girl Srinishe left from the program. In my view Srinisha and Nithya Sri are the LIFE of this show. Very nice to sea their performance and the way they are presenting in the stage with the smiling faces. We are really weighting to sea Srinisha again on the stage. I feel Nithya Sri also have a tuff time to compute with the other singers. I am not sure whether the show will be interesting without these two lovely kids. Other participants are talented and they are very serious for their performance.

I red Srinisha’s interview in”Kumutham Tamil book”. Even though it’s a small interview, the way she answer is so nice. We feel happy to sea Srinisha got the best award for the last Thursday’s performance, even though it was a favorable decision by the judges. In my view it’s appreciable because hard work of the small lovely girl should be motivated. However, I am not sure why Srinisha’s father didn’t thank the judges and the audiences for their guidance’s and the moral support given to Srinisha to become a popular singer in this small age.

I red the comments and the complaints of most of the well- wishers of the Airtel Super Singer Junior 2 program. Mostly they noted that the partial judgments by the judges for certain candidates. In my view, Airtel Super Singer Junior 2 program have a team of judges they are very popular and talented in their carriers and the Industry. They may consider certain other factors which we couldn’t aware or based on the situation they may support / decide in favor of some candidates which may differ from our views. We all should accept, Alka have extra ordinary talent for singing and she has more support from the audiences.

My name is Vijay Sridharan and a chartered accountant. My wife and I are watching Super singer for the beginning. Now for the last four weeks I am disappointed with the way the Mano and Chitra are showing their partiality to Alka and Shravan. Both Alka and shravan are average singers compared to Nithyasri, Priyanka and Roshan. Alka sang her songs very very slowly and she got encouraged compared to other children. Other children got negative comments and the participants cannot comment on the so called judges' partiality. The judges indirectly tell the children, that they have not selected a melody song. Why this comment from the judges? Why not the judges specify that they are looking for melody songs for the next two weeks to the children so that they can prepare accordingly. Why Alka always selects only melody songs. She does not have the capacity or capablity (for what i have observed) to sing other variety of songs which Nithyasri, Priyanka and even for that Sahana can sing.

I think the Air tel and Vijay TV should change the team of judges for every four to five episodes and the decision should be made more transparant like marks for style, rendition, speed, singing legibly, ragha rendition, completion, etc.etc. The criterias are not clear.

It is high time, change the judges and even at this stage the last four children will have justice and not disappointment. I thinks the way now the super singer goes, i think Alka and Roshan will come to the top. The audience and the public will know the bias of the judges.

When are we going to be more transparent and honest to ourselves. I am ashamed the way the whole thing is turning out.

I Second Vishwanath and Vasudevan.Talented kids are getting eliminated because of those biased judges.The elimination of kids like Priyanka, Sahana is totally unfair.I thought Priyanka would be spot selected in that MSV round.To everyone's surprise she was eliminated.Dont the judges who are good singers themselves have the heart to even think for a minute as to what they have done is fair or not?Alka is a very good singer nodoubt, but its not fair on the judges to spot select her and appreciate her always whch would demotivate other kids.And Kids like Priyanka is always given negative comments by the judges.They dont even encourage her.I have been observing this right from the beginning episodes.And Kids like Nithyashree, Sreenisha and Shravan are always being given good comments even though they performance is average most of the times.I clearly observed that the judges are impression by the dance performance, over expression of the kids like nithyashree, shreenisha rather than their singing .Expression should be shown in the song, in their voice not in their face.I would say Priyanka sang from the heart.Every song she chose was very tough and she rendered it very well but still she was given negative comments.But the Likes of Nithyashree sing an easy peppy song which is very well appreciated by the judges.Nithyashree should have been eliminated in award wining songs round and since Janaki mam didnt want elimination judges didnt eliminate her but priyanka was eliminated even though she received good comments from the legendary MSV.Also in the danger zone round Sharavan's performance was just average and judges sent him to safe zone.Am not here to discourage any kids but what i mean to say is about the biased judgement

I am Visvanathan from Srilanka currently working in Maldives. I am really happy to watch the Airtel Super Singer Junior2 program. It is so nice and the kids are amazing. Thanks to Vijay TV management to organize a lovely program like this.

I like to highlight certain points which in our view, if introduce, motivate the participants / audiences:

•The management should take immediate steps to inform the audiences (who ever seated in the auditorium) to stop showing banners stating a particular candidate to win. I personally feel it will be de motivates the performance of other candidates or it disturbed their mind. I am sure srinisha was disturbed in yesterday’s program due to the heavy support given to Roshan by the audiences with the banners.

•I am kindly requesting the Management to provide some additional prizes for these semi final participants. The management is offering only one huge price for the winner and other contestants’ are not appreciated by giving a reward except for a TV which was given for the entire contestant’s. In my view, the management should consider opening bank accounts for each participant and the details should be published in Vijay TV sites. This system helps us to appreciate all kids other than the top winner by giving some presents. Please don’t misunderstand, I am not meaning the kids are poor. It’s a pleasure for us to motivate our kids.

•Further, the management should consider opening individual sides to the current participants us to directly wish and motivate them. Its give us a grate opportunity to wish them and guide them directly if we fee any improvements needed for their performance, in our view. I hope it’s not an issue to have personal sits because they are very small kids and there are no ways to miss use. Further, it gives pleasure for them to read the wishes and comments of the well wishers at present and in future.

•I am sincerely requesting the organizers of this program to reply at least some of our mails. It motivates us to continue to Wright our comments and our views.

I do agree with the above and it is being continued I watch Airtel Super singer 2 regularly. I have noted some discrepancies. About the Judges – They are very poor in judgments. They act according to preconceived ideas. They have targeted to elevate Alka who is not up to the expectation. If the judges judge in the same way as that of other singers she would have been eliminated long ago. But the judges give a long rope to her alone due to ulterior motive. Of late they have eliminated Priyanka who is the very good singer to pave easy way for to Alka to win. Even at the time of Priyanka’s exit she was unnecessarily blamed and sent out unceremoniously. Had she been in the fray she had lot of chances to win the title because it would have been decided by the viewers and not by the present judges.
The judges showed their ignorance when they were singing along with the young contestants. It was because of the judges were not familiar with the songs of others chosen by the contestants. If the judges test Alka in the same way as that of others she would have fared very badly. When Alka sings they are very happy and smile by showing most of the teeth. They don’t take the pen and say Alka did very well even though she is very bad. Even in the semifinals Alka did very badly and Shravan did well they have chosen Alka.

I agree to this...I also want to add one thing here, judges(especially Chitra and Mano) are very much biased towards malyali singers like Alka, Roshan, Srikanth. If the show continues in this way there is no point in watch the show. One more thing Alka sings every song as sung by the original singer.(more like imitating..) I don't think she has showcased her original voice in any of the songs. This is quite easy for a stage singer who has been performing for years together.. But singers like Sahana, Priyanka etc who showcase their originality in this show are not being acknowledged...
