Vanilla Gift Cards review: Vanilla giftcard - faulty cards given - no resolution

I purchased several Vanilla Visa Giftcards in the amount of $700.00 at a local party city in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The giftcards were intended for a work birthday gift. When the receipent received the giftcards and wanted to use them, she wasn't able to. It stated "system error". Her and I contacted Vanilla Giftcard to start a case on the cards which was very difficult to do with the poor customer service. I always contacted the local party city and they stated we are unable to help. Months have gone by and vanilla giftcard closed the case and stated that the vendor never received payment which is false for all reasons that I have the receipts for all giftcards and authorizations receipts. I contacted party city for assistance and again, they stated they are not able to help me. Party city in collaboration with vanilla giftcard should be helping retrieve these funds or issue me new giftcards but that isn't the case. Party City should help because they are selling their products and their staff member could have made an error on their end.

Please help - this is unfair and someone has been out of a gift that was given by hard working individuals.
