Lincare Holdings - front office administrator needs replacing asap!

I'm afraid the only decent comment I may offer of this location (4405 Stewart Ave SUITE B, Wausau, WI 54401) is for the on-site therapist, Jamie. She is the epitome of care, concern and respect. However, the woman we were told administrates the front office is a completely different story. Not only is her desk always a wreck, seemingly always strewn with what appear to be invoices, etc., so also is her demeanor toward us, clients. Not one visit has yielded so much as a smile or kind word, only sharp, curt and cutting comments and the persistent vibe we are not wanted. The latest encounter happened today when after my wife was directed, by healthcare officials, to visit the Lincare location and that a replacement Respironics unit would be waiting for her to pick up, she was then faced with this woman's very rude and condescending attitude, drilling my wife with comments and suspicion. Carrying with her our two 2.5 yr old children, already tired from the day, she was forced, by this woman, to call a third party and endure an extra half hour on the phone for some kind of additional verification, just to satisfy this administrator. It isn't that we aren't aware of regulations regarding equipment and that verification must take place, it is that each time (whether today, for the sake of my daughter, or me and my CPAP machine parts), perhaps because we currently benefit from State assistance for our insurance and she feels we are somehow "below" the standards of other "more deserving clients", she somehow feels it appropriate to respond as if we are a great distraction to her day. Our suggestion is that, if she finds it so difficult to respond in a welcoming manner to ALL clients (the man with the big truck and Harley Davidson jacket got smiles, but not us), perhaps her place should be relegated to a back corner, unseen, and Jamie, who seems to treat all other human beings with the respect they deserve should have her desk moved up front. ...maybe Jamie should just run the office and this woman find another job where her job would then force her to honor clients and without all the needful paperwork...such as running a drive-thru for McDonald's.
