Car Toys - Damage to vehicle

Date of Service 8/14/2023 Location: puyullap car toys.

For starters No invoice with any detailed costs of the installation or product was provided only the credit card receipt for $1316.40

During the install the car was damaged and the system was wired incorrectly to safety feature wires and electrical seats. This caused electrical issues with airbag systems, safety belts and dash wiring. My son had no choice, but to drive his car, he has a full time job, he has to work to live. An estimate from shops had to be given for the repairs. The car was going to be needed for 3 days from Volkswagen of Fife. He was told they had no rental car to provide not did they even offer to pay for one. Aside from the neglience that occurred there was no discount offered. No deduction of install that should never had been charged after this mistake. Considering the errors that took place that would have been the least they could have done. He paid for 3 days of a loaner car and had to pay 1312.75 dollars for the repairs. We were told the store had to file a claim and as of today 12/9/23 my son is still waiting for reimbursement. This is ridiculous. I was dumbfounded when I got the credit card * and saw the full price was charged after all that had took place. Yes, he had permission to go get his stereo system, but the fact that you still charged full price and didn't even offer a reimbursement makes me feel like you definitely took advantage of a young boy. On4 weeks ago I filed a bbb complaint was response from regional manager was that it had slipped thru the cracks and was immediately being processed. And stated no refund on install or product could be given.. Again 12/4/23 I contact them that no check was recieved. Again another apology will submitt again and be 10-14 days. This is Unexcepptable. We expect and deserve the whole amount of the install and merchandise to be credited back credit and the repairs amount. from the complaints listed it seems this company is sabatoging many vehicles and need better training and knowledge on wiring. Your going to mess up someone's airbag system or safety features and Lord forbidden a life is taken from a wreck because they don't know what they are doing.

Claimed loss: 1312.00 repairs 350.00 loaner car and no again going in shop for wiring issue effecting airbag system

Desired outcome: Full refund and reimbursement
