We were just at your Food Lion on Churchland Blvd. My husband went to get a couple (2) things from the store. He waited his turn in line when he was rushed by a large group of people that obviously did not like the fact that he was even there. One got in front, some were beside him, while others were behind him. The woman in front of him turned and yelled out there wasn't a line, come on. Again, he was rushed at. He took the two items and threw them on the back counter of a closed Aisle. While the overseer looked on with her peers at the store and said and did nothing, nothing, nothing. I just wanted you to know, he went across the street to Harris Teeter and bought our merchandise and was waited on with a smile. No shoving, yelling, jumping in front of other customers, just simple service. If this is the way you conduct business, after fifty years of shopping with your store, we are moving on. No one should be treated like that and it not be addressed by management at least. This was at 7:30 p.m. on August 14th, 2023. In Portsmouth, Virginia store #00839.
Desired outcome: a formal apology, and retraining of management. This should never have happened.
