Initially I was very pleased when I placed my contact lens order on monday of this week and my contacts arrived by wednesday night. I was not very comfortable having to input my own order (I always rely on the great staff at the westfield brandon location), but I made my way through the order and was very relieved to know that I had to upload my prescription so they could double check what I input for the order.
Much to my surprise when I put my contacts in today, they were the (-) prescription not the (+). According to the first rep joann, "this happens every day and there are zero refunds or credits". Then, after speaking to the manager, she point blank told me it was my fault... And even though they ask for the prescription and verify the name, etc., they do not compare it to what the "non medical" buyer has input. What a horrible, disappointing customer service practice. And if this happens all the time (according to your staff), why does visionworks not evaluate their quality control practices and make changes? One recommendation... How about verify the prescription (two lines of info) to what the buyer has input. Oh yes, I know why? Because then you would not continue to load tons of money in your pockets when we all have to repurchase the correct prescription. So, I spent $212 on contacts and I will be filing a complaint with the news station in my area to publicly share what has hapepned and your horrible practices. Or, you can make it easy and credit me back for this purchase.
