Meineke Car Care Center - The unprofessionalism

On Monday July 10, 2023 I called in to speak with a woman by the name of Deanna. This lady was very rude and unprofessional to say the least. I asked could they fix my son's BMW and she stated yes, after she got all the information what was wrong with it. I took it in and they said that it was one problem but could be fixed the next day. She called the next day and stated the price went up because of another part that was broken. I panic because the price was 1,300 at first I was okay because I got finance help. She called the next day she stated it would be 2,000. I told her that I didn't have that and at first she tried working with me and I respect that. I was told oh we can do this to help you out and the price will be 1,900. I was like okay go ahead and fix it. I then had my husband to do the snap finance to help with covering our son's car the price when I got the bill was more like 2,200. I called to question why the price went up the husband got on the phone talking because the other parts. I was calling because I was not getting updates about the progress of the car. I was told the car would be fix one day then the next nope another part broke. I understand parts break but they had me to drive a hour away to pick up his car to only had to turn around because it ran hot not even 10 minutes down the road. The manager husband was also rude saying in the future don't rush people on your car but knew the mechanic was suppose bleed my son's car before saying it was ready. They both the manager and her husband are liars, unprofessional, bad communicators and should not run anyone's business. I heard her call in a part for someone else and the person said it would be 11 then she told her husband we have to double it. I should have known better. On top of all of this when I had to return the car another part broke because of this negligence of them. The husband and wife could not get their story together when speaking with me at different times. One minute she would say oh the part comes in at 10:30 am then later speaking to the husband he would say oh the part came in this evening. I'm not going to into what I really think of these people and their personal issues. I am going to speak on facts. She called me to say that the extra part would cost extra I clearly asked her could it be added. Her husband said yeah she just will have close it out and make a new one. I picked my son car up and she stated I needed to pay cash to the other lady that was much more nicer the mechanic wife. I said nope that was not the agreement and she said it could be added and her husband stated the same. These people gave conflicting time when the car would be ready and knowing it was more work that needed to be done. The manager put her husband on the phone when I would begin to question her as if he was the bodyguard given me a lecture on that's why nobody wanted to work on this car and all of this. They act like I was asking them to cut me a deal I am customer trying to understand that had they ran the diagnostic then they wouldn't had to play the guessing game. The only way this turned out right was the mechanic Angel he was very nice and answered my questions without a problem. I would never go back to this place and I suggest no one else does either until these two individuals are removed. I have had nothing but good at Meineke before this experience in this location. The husband tried blaming me saying we were rushing them but they are the professionals. Saying we want to get rid of this car as much as you are ready for it. We are not trying to keep your car. I will never again go back. I can say this she did send pictures of broken pieces but I am still waiting on the invoice that I should have received before leaving this establishment.

Desired outcome: Do better for the next customers because you lost this one.
