Discount Tire - Tire replacement / Military discount

7/8/23 at about 9am I went to Discount tire in Georgetown TX. I was helped by Summer W. (37) and I have never had such weird service. I brought in a tire for my Saturn u under warranty, because a steel belt broke inside. I had to ask several times for the warrantee to even be considered. afterwards, I only received a $60 discount on my next purchased went in the past for a broken belt I received full coverage amount. Also, in the past, they upgraded to the next tire because they did not have my tire in stock I was charged for all of this and when I asked for military discount, I was told it was only done online. When I explained, I’ve been there at least a dozen times in the past and always gotten a military discount. It was still refused, saying you can only do it online. I am confused about this customer service. Discount has always been good to me. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. This will cause me to look elsewhere.

Desired outcome: Reimburse on cost of the tire down to just certificates and tire disposal fee, as well as military discount

Discount Tire - Customer service - Georgetown Texas

My name is Randy Copper [protected]) and I have been a discount tire customer since 1985. I have purchased many tires and services from your dealerships in the past. I am sadly disappointed in your company and the customer service it has. I went to Round Rock discount tire and asked for an R&B (rotate and balance) as I have the certificate on all 4 tires for this vehicle 2019 GMC Sierra. I told them weights had fallen off of the right rear tire. They wrote it up as a flat repair and did nothing as I watch him pull the tire off, look it over remounted it and said nothing is wrong with it. I told the technician about the weights and he said it is fine just drive it. Then today as I was driving I felt it shake on the right rear so I went to my normal discount tire shop in Georgetown. Summer wrote me up she was fine and said it would be about 3 hours to get the R&B completed. I waited nothing happened so I waited another hour and the truck did not move. I went to the counter and asked Melvin and he said oh you have 6 cars ahead of you and turned around and left. I said I had been told 1:45 it would be done and it is now 2:45 his comment was well its an R&B service and all other customers are before an R&B. I said give me the keys and I left. I feel your service has went down hill for the last two years but now it is at the bottom of the tire companies. Your advertising and money spent is a waste if you treat customers like that. I feel you need to ensure your manager (Will Ortiz) is on site taking care of his customers and his employees. Training would be the best start. CW was there and he seemed to be interested in customer support but the others are useless.

Desired outcome: I would first like service that I paid for! Second an apology and last if that is too much then refund the difference in my certificates and I will shop elsewhere for tires and service.
