Asurion - Phone warranty transfer and stolen phone case

On 2/8/23 my phone wouldn't make or receive calls. I could get text. I called Verizon, they put me with a person to try and trouble shoot. After turning the phone off, it took about an hour and a half to turn back on. She said she felt it needed a mother board replacement and sent me to the store. She gave me an address, I assumed was Verizon, but instead it was Asurion. I had an appointment at 2:00. When I go in they say the appt was at 1:00, the fellow that repairs said it looked to him like the screen and microphone, so I had to call and change the claim to a screen and microphone from their land line. He replaced those, then the phone went completely dead. Couldn't turn on. So they said they were expediting a phone to me 2/10/23 Delivery. At 5:00PM the phone wasn't here. I called to check and the claim was cancelled by the Asurion store. (I am assuming) So after over two hours and them asking me to receive text and take pictures with a phone that was inoperable (I was calling from a Land line), I had to send my driver's license and and affidavit. It came today. I got to the Asurion store as it says on the box. They asked me on Thursday to bring to back to them to transfer. So I go in today to get it transferred. It was going to take a bit, so they took both phones and asked me to grab a bite. I come back, they have taken the cover off of my iPhone, and never returned it. I went to the Verizon store and sit for three hours, to get the phone transferred, go back to get my cover, and they said they didn't have it they guess they threw it away. It was a Romeo Britto that came from a museum in Miami. I asked if I could go through the garbage to look they said no. I called Michelle the manager again tonight, because I am not ok, with your employees just taking things. She is a condescending one, to be a manager. You are not going to win customers with her. Basically this is the worse service I think I have ever received, but to think you have people that steal from your customers is out right unacceptable. One of your people with in three hours, did something with the case. I am going to assume they kept it, and if they actually threw it away, why couldn't I simply look in their garbage? Well I am home now and she offered to let me come back and go throw the dumpster. She said they take each piece of trash to the dumpster and I'd have to dumpster dive to get it. Do you think this is acceptable? Because I don't. And, I think I am going to cancel the insurance on my phone. It would be one thing to pay for something that you didn't use. I have been four days without a phone. All while my sister is in the hospital diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and I am a sales manager for a Medical equipment company. Would have been more cost effective to just buy an new phone. They sent an iPhone 14, I could care less, that cost me three hours in the Verizon store to change the number, if you had just sent me a replacement, like I was told on the 9th. This exercise would have been over, and wouldn't have taken damn near two full days and have one of your employees STEAL from a customer. I am outraged but the theft was the straw that will have me taking this to another level. You don't get to just do this type of crap and think there are never any consquences.

Desired outcome: I would like the cover they stole, or have it replaced and not have to deal with a condescending, person who, likely took in it the first place.
