On May 14th 2023 at the new combo store on maple ave in Zanesville ohio my 72 year old grandma and myself went in to grab a few items at about 5:15pm for mothers day and the cashier at register #2 was getting a line so she paged another woman to help with the line anyways the woman came to help she opened register #1 and was saying "I can't never get nothing done because people can't keep the line down and always paging me to help with register" she came up with a attitude when she did open the other register and when my grandma and myself went to check out my grandma gave her a 20.00 and the receipt said her change was supposed to be 8.20 however she gave my grandma 6.20 and shorted her the 2.00 so when I asked if I could speak to manager she said "I'm the manager in charge right now" so I told her she forgot to give my grandma the other 2.00 and she said oh ok and had to open her drawer to get my grandma back her 2.00 that she shorted her she never apologized or even said sorry if she has done this to my grandma I could only imagine how much she shorting the elderly people in their change which is wrong also to add she had a attitude the whole time she was checking us and the people behind us out she was complaining that they was short staffing and she's tried of being called to register every 5 minutes I did ask her for her name she wouldn't give it to me she said she doesn't have to tell me but I did noticed her badge did have a ASM above where her name is and I seen it started with a J but couldn't see the rest of it so I'm bringing my concern to corporate because this is not how you do business if you going to run a store atleast make sure your employees isn't stealing money from their elders and I'm sure my grandma wasn't the first or last she has took change from we shop there weekly but after this happen sadly we will be shopping somewhere else because a employee should never have a attitude and take it out on customers and especially short changing elders that's stealing just because they are elderly doesn't mean someone can take their money and expect them to not know that they was being short changed while the employee pockets the money so please get this handled the right way so nomore elders get their money took have a good day
Desired outcome: I would like to see this employee get a investigation done for not only attitude but her customer service skills
