I have sent several complaints to headquarters and the store before but have not received any response to compensate me for what your company did to my car and my family. As explained in the previous complaints: 1. Your company put my family in danger. 2. Your company did not repair my van properly and broke the front left brake fluid bleeder without fixing it. 3. Your company charged for repairs which were not done.
I attached pictures of the complete brake job done on my van for safety because your company did not do it correctly. I Also attached the invoice on this job. I am demanding payment for this job and compensation for what your company has put my family through. If I don't hear from you within 5 business days, you will hear from my lawyer. Just remember, what happened was a criminal act, not just dishonest business practice.
Desired outcome: Compensation for what your company did to my car and my family.
I got a call from Nashville, TN this morning with a short message. I called back a few times and only got the same recording message. This happened a few weeks ago. I want an email or other written form of response, no phone call.
Firestone Complete Auto Care - Brake fluid lines repair - case number #2758437
Following is the summary of the complaint and demand a full refund and compensation:
1. Put my family in danger.
2. Did not do the work as charged. Did not remove the old brake fluid lines and did not breed the front brakes. Broke the left front caliper breeder. Did not breed the right front because the breeder is frozen.
3. The new brake fluid lines are made up of rubber hoses. The rubber hoses were not installed properly, rubbed against other parts of the car and show sign of damage.
4. Front brake lines zip tied to the rear oxygen sensor wiring harness, which will break the wire.
5. New brake lines and hoses ran through vehicles that were not secured properly.
I had a local auto shop look at the car and provide a summary of the inspection and cost for redoing the job complete to make it safe to drive. The information with pictures are being sent to the Steubenville OH store for reimbursement and compansation
Desired outcome: Reimburse the cost for the complete repairs by Auto Shop and compansation for putting my family in danger.
I forgot to mention the reason I took the car to the local auto shop for checkup because I was having difficulty to stop the car, the brake is soft and goes all the way to the bottom. I need a good distance to stop the car.
