Dollar General - Wrongful termination

About or around 3/2/2024 a guy bought several gift cards to load money upon buying cards he was speaking with mod expressing how he just moved up here and worked for dg and was looking for a store to transfer to. He knew the system, the store and how the cards were when they didnt go through. So the guy loaded the cards several of the cards with 500.00 each on the card when a big amount is being you have to call for manager so the mod came and turned the key so transaction could go through, the cards was authorized except it was a issue with one of the cards and I called the mod she came touch something and everything was fine they went through. I always keep any slip in the event of a decline cc or a return or void just for record until it has been said drawer is fine. At the end of the night after she counted the drawer she said it was cool no issues. All week I have been at work and again drawer been fine when I get to work on 3/06/2024 I was called to the office told I was terminated because the guy was a scammer but how? He gave me money that for some reason the gm says that she cant see on camera and not understanding that and then says that it was 2900 short how he spent 2000 so where the other coming from then she says the mod was fired but I text her and she was still employed and acted as if she didn't remember the guy but that day before she asked about him and his employment so why am I fired and she is she still employed and why its a extra 900.00 added on and why for some reason this camera not showing certain things and why for a whole week almost 2 that nothing said to me because clearly you know the drawer short that night and in the morning but i'm told nothing was wrong with my drawers no days never had a write up or drawer short and that was 8.00 that I figured out because I had the receipt this is humiliating, embarrassing and false accusations there is clearly something fishy going on and I just want my job before I have to resort to lawyer that I really cant afford
