I have teledoc as an alternative medical service through my health insurance. I was billed an incorrect rate to which I brought it up to customer service the next business day. I was told that I selected another billing option causing me to be charged at non insurance rates. They refused to rebill the claim or refund me the difference. I was told by the customer service representative I spoke to that I caused this error and was billed correctly because of the way I accessed my services through the teledoc app. I have never heard such ignorant billing practices in my life. I attempted to get the customer service representative to understand that from a consumers stand point I had no knowledge I was accessing non insurance rates. I was told I would not be getting a refund. This is poor business practices and this company needs to be monitored extremely carefully and some of their customer services representatives need to work on their communication skills.
Desired outcome: Re-submit the claim or refund me the contractual difference
