I used the door dash app to order $69.76 worth of White Castle food. My order was confirmed at 6:31pm. At 7:16pm, the door dash driver called me to tell me that he was at the location (846 Empire Blvd, Bklyn, NY 11213) waiting for my order. At 8:14pm I called the driver and asked him why was he still waiting for my food and he said they told him "to just wait as they were extremely busy". At 8:43pm, door dash canceled my order saying the restaurant said they were closed! How does a restaurant confirm an order and then 2 HOURS later cancel due to the restaurant being "closed". I reached out to door dash and all they could do was a refund that will be back on my card in 3 business DAYS! I am hungry now! What is happening to that White Castle is totally unprofessional and unacceptable!
