Spectrum.com - worst company I have ever delt with

I have been with Charter for over 7 months. To this date my services don't work properly. The first 4 months we had a tec at are home at least once a week. He actually told me there was nothing else he could do and he was tired of coming to my house!
My Bill HA I signed up for the 69.99 plan, I asked if there were any up front fee's and was told NO that I got to use my service before I had to pay anything to make sure I was Happy with their service! WOW OMG a company that actually cared what the customer thought. I was amazed . Not as amazed as I was when I got my first bill 3day's after they installed my services! It was over $300.00! when I called I was told that there was all kinds of set up fee's connection fees and box fee's oh and tax fees that exceed 15.00 a month and that they bill a month in advanced and that mine was past due because the day it was installed was their billing date and I was scheduled to be turned off if I didn't pay immediately, ! OMG are you kidding me I haven't had my services a week and 1month behind already. Not to mention there was all kinds of charges for services I didn't order, I asked them to remove it from my bill I was told that it would come off the next months bill which would be the 3rd bill mind you I havent had service a week. I was told that I had to pay the full amount to avoid interruption. In the mean time they came out and installed a new cable line across my yard, set an appointment to come back in a week to bury the line. They showed up 2 day's early diddnt inform they were here, disconnected my cable from the pole. My computer was updating the Windows updates you Know the one that's says DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER! When they were done my computer could not complete the updates at all tried over and over and it was not functioning properly! I called and complained I was told that they were not responsible for my computer, I called windows and they said I would have to restore it back to factory settings! I lost all my files because I couldnt even run the back up. My phone service to this day is broken up worse than a bad cell phone service I walk around my house saying can you hear me know. Im constantly knocked off line on my computer. They had my services set up to open so my computer was hacked hell they even told me that so once again i had to restore my computer . Any time I call Customer service which by now I cant even count I am passed around o 4 5 6 different departments and every one is in a different state! So they don't have a clue to what is going on. I was told by one Supervisor that my services would not be interrupted and I would not be billed for my services until they were working properly. There was an outage in my area at least once a week some times for a day or two. I would call to report it. I was told that I would not be billed for thoes day's of course I was, When I called I was told that I had to repot it to the billing department that Tec support does not offer credits Oh yeah by the time you are suppose to receive your credits off the net bill that's 2 months away they are not credited and when you call they tell you that they don't issue credits older than 30 day's ! Guess what I still kept getting billed not only billed but my Bill was never near the 69.99 package I don''t think I have had a bill yet that was less than 200.00 MY service has been the worst I have ever had, customer support SUCK"S every call takes 1 or 2 hrs and they will tell you what ever they want just to get you off the phone when you tell them what you were told they say there are no notes! They even told me that they just told me that to get me off the phone! HAHA and my BILL has never been current I have paid them over 1, 500.00 in 7 months and I am allway's behind never recieved anty credit's. Im at the point im not paying another dime. I will have to go with sattelite or something! Im not sure though they reviews look just as bad. IS THERE ANY LEGITIMATE COMPANY'S LEFT

This is a follow up to my complaint. I received a phone call by a customer service rep who told me that my package was changed and that my new plan would run me 75.00 a month. with taxes and fee's my bill would not be more than 85.00 for the next 6 months and that If I call before my 6 months was up, that I could extend the same package . I was also told that I no longer have a past due balance. I am completely amazed that I actually got some help. That some one actually listened to me I have been trying for 7 months. I am really skeptical to see this really happen I have been told so many different thing's by Charter but they have yet to follow through. I was fortunate enough that when I was talking on the phone that the Rep could hear my phone cutting out and we were disconnected l. He had to call me back, I was told he would get some one on that also . This has been a issue also for 7 months, Every time a repair person comes to my house they tell me there is nothing wrong with my service. So let's see if this to is addressed. I will keep you informed, To if they stand behind what I was told .

Just to be upfront and clear, none of our packages include the taxes and surcharges or additional digital converters, and I apologize if that was not explained to you. THE MOST RECENT PROBLEM WAS THEY OFFERED ME A UPGRADED PACKAGE WITH A PRICE LOCK GUARANTEE A CONTRACT, FOR 144.00 A MONTH FOR 2 YEARS BUT IF I CANCELED I WOULD HAVE TO PAY A 200.00 CANCELLATION FEE! I FIGURED WHAT DO I HAVE TO LOSE AT LEAST MY BILL WILL BE THE SAME EVERY MONTH. WELL MY NEWEST BILL WAS WELL OVER 200.00 SO AGAIN I CALLED AND GOT THE SAME RUN AROUND I WAS TOLD THE PRICE QUOTED WAS BEFORE TAXES AND BEFORE THE FEES FOR THE 2 EXTRA BOXES THAT I WAS TOLD TO BEGIN WITH WERE INCLUDED IN MY PACKAGE AND THE FEE FOR THE MODEM FOR MY INTERNET SERVICE AND THE TAXES I WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT ONE OF THE BOXES WAS A HD DVR AND THAT WAS AN EXTRA 15.00 PLUS A UPGRADE FEE OF 15.00 . I ONLY ORDERED A STANDARD BOX IT DIDN'T WORK AND THE TEC REPLACED WITH THE NEW BOX BUT IT DOES NOT RECORD AND IS HOOKED UP TO A TV THAT DOSENT EVEN HAVE HD. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT I ORDERED A DISNEY PACKAGE WHICH I DID NOT ORDER !PLUS THE FREE 30 DAY TRIAL FOR HIGHER SPEED INTERNET THAT I WAS OFFERED THAT MORNING AS A COURTESY BECAUSE MY PHONES KEEP CUTTING OUT. I EVEN REPEATED TO THE GIRL THAT I WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR 30 DAY'S AND SHE SAID NO WAS ALREADY ON MY BILL THAT SAME DAY FOR AN EXTRA 10.00 THE TEC AGREED TO REMOVE ALL THE EXTRA CHARGES BUT NOT UNTIL THE NEXT BILLING CYCLE! SO MY SERVICES ARE DUE TO BE TURNED OFF DEC 26TH AND THEN I WILL HAVE THIS 600.00 BILL PLUS THE 200.00 CANCEL FEE FOR 2 MONTHS SERVICE! 800.00 FOR 2 MONTHS THAT IS WHER MY BILL STANDS NOW ! i HAVE A PRICE LOCKED GUARANTEE FOR MY BILL TO BE 144.00 A MONTH SO EXPLAIN THIS TO ME!
