Ashley HomeStore - Warranty service

I purchased a living room set in June of 2019. At the time, I told the sales associate I didn't want the warranty, so she got up and had one of the supervisors come over to try to sell it to me. After saying no to him, another came over and all three people (associate and two sales managers) were tag teaming to get me to purchase the warranty. I was told if I had kids and/or animals that caused ANY damage, the warranty would cover it. "You would be crazy not to get it, its one of the best warranties out there and we have it in writing", which the sales manager showed me their pamphlet that did say damage from children/animals including urine stains/ tears, etc. would be covered. So I gave in and paid $499.99 for a 5 year warranty.

A little over a year later, I noticed the cushion on my chaise was damaged, so I submitted a claim, asking if they can just replace the cover as it tore along the zippered area- Diamond Care Plus (the warranty company) said that damage wasn't covered and then I discovered the cushion itself was choppy and shredded which gave the chaise a sunken appearance. Then I had an animal who was old urinate on my recliner while I was out of town, so it sat there fully absorbed into the non-removable cushion for days. Till this day, I still can't get the odor nor the brownish stain removed. I submitted a claim, confident that I wouldn't have issues after the experience with the sales managers. The warranty company asked for photos, and immediately responded saying they couldn't see any stains, and odors weren't covered. I went to the store and spoke to Jose, the sales manager, on that day. He immediately jumped on the phone after him and two sales associates all said that should have been covered and that he would get my warranty honored. He said he would get back to me. Well, weeks went by and I didn't hear anything. Found out, he only works a few hours a week, and didn't bother to ask if another sales manager can followup. Eventually after calling multiple times and leaving multiple messages, he called me back and said that the warranty company stated they will contact me to resolve the issue. I never received any call, and when I followed up myself with the company, I was told they were still not covering it. So now I have a damaged recliner ($399.99) and chaise ($499.99), plus the cost of the $499.99 warranty, totaling $1399.97 and no resolution. I am about to file a lawsuit as this is clearly false advertising, and in my book fraud as it was shown to me IN WRITING! I also have a coffee table that will not stay open (it is the kind that the top cover opens and acts as a adjustable table), due to the screws giving out, but I didn't bother submitting that, being I would be denied anyways. After researching Ashely Furniture's warranty company, I was blown away seeing how many people are looking to all join a class action lawsuit for the same issues!

Desired outcome: I expect to get the results that I was promised when I made the purchase- I would get credited my purchase price. So I expect to be credited for both the Recliner and the Chaise.

Ashley HomeStore - Return Policy

I purchased a floor lamp on the evening of 01/31/2023. After setting the lamp in the area I realized that it was too big and decided to return it. I reviewed the contract and read that they have a no return policy. At the time of purchase there was no mention of this policy. In addition, my copy of this policy contract was not signed by me. Early the next day I called and asked if there was any way I could return the lamp. They explained that all sales are final, they would not make any exception. I called again and explained that the sales agent never explained their policy and that I never signed the contract. They said sorry no exceptions. I saw the restocking fee, but that was never offered. This has been a very disappointing experience.

Desired outcome: Retuning the lamp and paying the $99 restocking fee would have been acceptable.

Ashley HomeStore - Bedroom and living room furniture

I purchased a bedroom set and living room furniture from Ashley back in June. It was finally delivered in August, however they delivered the wrong sofa and the bed was without the side railings and the dresser without a mirror.

I was not at home when it was delivered. As soon as I noticed the wrong items, I contacted the store and notified them of it. That was on the same day it was delivered. They stated they will correct it. 2 weeks later they came with the side railings for the bed but it was for a cal king and not a regular king size bed. I also contacted the store again and told them that. They were asked to take the sofa back, but they deliver guys stated that it was not something they were told to so. I kept contacting the store and still nothing has been resolved. Finally I asked them to come pick up all the incorrect things they left at my house and they are now stating that they can't. I am left with things I did not order and they are refusing to correct the issue

Desired outcome: i would like them to credit me back and come pick up their furniture

Ashley HomeStore - Furniture, damaged floor, and refund credit

Purchased over $10K of furniture May 2021. So far I have had 4 deliveries, in which 3 deliveries had damaged furniture and damaged my wood floor. Went to the Fayetteville, NC 28314 store on 29 June 2021 spoke with the manager to resolve the issue or refund of money of items not received. The manger promised me a $1500 refund to my credit card and told me that someone would be contacting to fix my floor. As of today 26 July 2021 the money has not be credit to my card, no one has called about repairing my floor and I do not have all my furniture. I have been getting the run around.

Desired outcome: My floor repaired in my new home, $1500 credited and my furniture delivered

The company should be reported to better business bureau for each and every complaint that is not being resolved. Eventually there will be so many complaints of them taking money, delivering damaged goods, not refunding or canceling the orders they will be recognized. Call the news stations to for the local stores when the media gets involved perhaps 2020 to ask their corporate about their service.

Ashley HomeStore - Refund of my down payment $1,080.00 for furniture not schedules to receive until 30-45 days later.

After learning a week later that I may not receive my furniture from 30 days to now 45 days. I then requested my refund/ down payment of $1, 080. Now I have to wait 2-3 weeks for my refund from ashley furniture. They have given me the run around from the beginning of this entire process.

I went the next day to a nearby major furniture store and purchased and picked up my furniture the very same day.
