On 4/2/2021, I went into Kay Jewelers in Clarksburg, Md to pick up a ring that I purchased. As I entered the store, my glasses fogged up and I removed it to clean them. As I approached the counter to talk to the retailer, I placed my glasses on the counter as I waited for her to look for my item. Once it was found, I tried it on to make sure it was the right fit. I interacted with the retailer and the manager. I signed a few documents and left the store since the ring had to be sent back to be resized. Later, I called the store to ask them if they found eyeglasses. I was told No. But I still returned to the store to look for my glasses. The retailers insisted that they didn't find them. I politely asked the manager if she could check the camera so I can be reinsured that someone actually took them. The manager who I don't know her name ignored me at first. Then I asked again, she gave me a clear "NO" for an answer and walked off. She was very careless, rude and didn't show any sympathy. I didn't appreciate such cold treatment especially when I was a good customer and who accidentally left an expensive item in the store. All she had to do was check the camera but she preferred to not value my concern. I was very frustrated and left the store. Is that how you treat customers?
