Sears - Sears protection agreement

I have been associated with Sears for over forty years due to my mother who always had Sears Protection Maintenance Agreement Plan. Always had good service. Last year problems with the Freezer - it took over four service calls, varies parts and the right service technician who knew what he was during to get the freezer working. In the meantime, we completed the replacement forms for food loss, downloaded and received a confirmation number. No response. I called a month later, was informed the confirmation number was in invalid and the number they had was rejected by supervisor.

This year the Side by Side had to be repaired. First the refrigerator, it took over three service appointments to acquire a technician who was knowledgeable. = we loss over 100 to 200 dollars' worth of food. Had to go out for fourth of July, because we have nowhere to keep the food., it had to be something for just that day evening. Spoke with someone in Agreement Benefits, stated we will send you a check for 115.00 for a cooler or something to keep perishable items. I then explained what we were going through with being rejected from the previous case and now we are back again. She stated that a $300 would be mailed out as soon as possible. Meanwhile, a new ice maker was delivered after calling two months ago and finding out that was the problem. A tech came October 19 after waiting another two weeks. The following Monday the new ice maker stops working. I call service repair again and explained what has happened, I was informed that he was unable to send another tech out because the Protection Agreement for the year had expired however I was in the ninety day repairment time. Still waiting for checks, and call from Agreement Benefits for replacement. However, I got call from renewal of protection plan? Also been on hold for over an hour waiting on

Lydia in Benefits to return my call. Will try again myself, and keep trying.
