Texas Roadhouse

My husband planned a surprise birthday dinner for me. When he called on Monday he was told to call 1 hour prior to coming in. So today he called at 5:00 pm to tell them he had a big party coming in at 7:30. My party arrived at 7:30 and my husband and I arrived at 8:00. We didn't get sitted until 8:40 because the large table they had was occupied. When they finally took us back they separated our party into three section, which I was fairly upset about! We explained to the manager (Bill) about the sitting and the wait and he was being sarcastic and an [censored]. We received our food about 9:30 and we were done and eating cake by 10:00. We asked for checks at the time because we had guest that lived an hour in a half from Gainesville and we had half a dozen kids that has school the next day. While we waited and waited a couple of cockroaches were climbing on our wall and table (We have video). So we decided to get up. Blake our server (which was awesome) came over and apologized for the wait and told us just to move to another area. That was about 10:20. While 22 of us stood there we waiting forever! At 10:45 my husband walked over where the manager was at the register talking on the phone he refused to speak to my husband and ignored that we were even there. Our server then came over and explained the system went down. It was down at 10:00 but we weren't notified until 10:45. We explained to him we need to leave we had baby's crying and kids asleep in the booths. Manager at this point was kinda nice but wouldn't let us go. At 11:03 my husband ending up having to pay for the whole bill because they couldn't split it! That manager had no sympathy at all and cared less that we waited more than an hour for our check! I have never in my life had such awful service and so sad that it's my favorite restaurant. I will promise I will never step foot in a Texas Roadhouse. I make sure that everyone knows of the poor service I had.
