Regus - Private office items stolen

I’ve been in Regus for almost 3 months in a Private Office. Twice already ítems has been stolen from my office and of course Regus is not financially responsable for it.

When this situation happened the 1st time I requested that nobody should have access to my office, I will clean it myself, and take the trash out. Less than a month after and things got stolen again.

I don’t feel that my stuff is safe here anymore and I’m scare next time my computer will be gone. Based on this and the fact that I already requested that no one should have access to my office I wanted to cancel my contract before the agreement ends.

I’ve been told that I can go if I want but they will continue to charge me until the end of the agreement. I think based on the facts this is unprofessional, irresponsable, and just unfair. My rent now is more expensive because I have to replace items stolen every time.

I believe I have reasonable cause enough to cancel my contract in advance without any penalties. I just don’t want to be here anymore and my day to day is now miserable thanks to this actions. And Regus is not even offering anything to make the make safer, no cameras, no additional security, nothing.

Also, because it was a second time, the person offered to reimburse me for this items and after I sent her the invoices she comes back and says it wasn’t approved! How can she offered something and they say it was not approved? How professional is that?

I regret I didn’t read reviews and search online for complains, etc. it’s on me that I didn’t look for information before signing a contract with them. This is not good business practice. It says a lot about how Regus cares about their profits and nothing about the customers.

Desired outcome: Cancellation on contract without penalties.

Regus took the requested steps to find a happy solution for me by canceling my contract in advance of the original term. I appreciate the help that some people a Regus did in order to get this compliant resolve in a quick and expedite time.
