Stater Bros Markets - Cashier

I shopped for a few minutes, then realized I needed to use the restroom, but since COVID the restrooms at this store have had a code to get into.. I asked Roxanna R (she was wearing a white Staters Bros. Shirt but her name tag was hiding underneath her smock. Later I had to ask for her name) for the code & she told me to ask 1 of the girls in white, of which there were several in a group. I said which one, YOU'RE wearing white. She told someone near me "what's the point of a code if I just give it out?" Suggesting she DID know the code and would NOT Help a paying customer. 😡

Desired outcome: All employees have a polite attitude and give the customers the code to the bathroom.

Stater Bros Markets - Front end cashiers

Today is June 13,2022 mid afternoon. I am a resident of Pinon Hills since 1987, before Phelan Stater Bros even existed. We had a small local market or went to Victorville to shop. Along came Stater Bros and all was well except for the long lines. Years passed, people came and went, I recognize 2 people from many years of service, Amalia in Service Deli (wonderful, kind customer service) and Cindy Manz (sometimes friendly, sometimes no interaction) she’s busy I know….. but a friendly hello would be good customer interaction…. ok so now there are a lot of I’d say 20-30 something’s as front end cashiers. These employees are not being observed AT ALL for their greeting of customers, interaction during the checkout process, or even a kind thank you and enjoy your day! NOTHING. I’ve been a Service Deli associate, assistant Manager, a front end cashier for years in a grocery chain, competitor of Staters. I know how to acknowledge a customer, a RETURNING customer! I will give you 3 names off the top of my head who needs some special attention, Wyatt, Zachery and Anica (spelling?) she looks miserable nearly every time I go thru her line. What is the problem here!? The community is just about forced to shop here because of close locality but must we have to put up with the snotty attitudes of these young employees? I know several families who won’t even step inside your store any longer, they will travel the 20-30 miles to another competitor. My long winded point is…. Guide these young employees to put a cheerful face on and greet people! It makes a better experience for all of us!

Give a HUGE SHOUT OUT TO ARIELA (Arciela?) at the moment I’m at a loss for her name, I’m so sorry! And SHOUT OUT TO ROXY! If either one of these gals is working at the time, I will WAIT in a long line to go thru their check stands. Do something to not lose another customer, or please offer grocery pickup like so many businesses do, so we don’t have to put up this their attitudes!

Desired outcome: Customer Service with a smile!!!
