AmeriGas Propane

In December 2022 I purchased a house in Nice California, I was told the tank on site was Amerigas Tank, so I reached out to them they confirmed so I created an account and started paying for service on auto pay. 3 months later I come home and my tank is disconnected.

I call Amerigas to find out what happen, because I have a message on a piece of paper on my door stating that my Acc was disconnected because the old owner, wanted the tank removed and payed back for his Tank, so I ask how come I am just learning of such, what about the account I have been paying for, the manager did not bother to reach out to me, stated that he did not see an active account on the address, but they were charging me each month.

I ask them to come reconnect and let’s figure things out, they refused and told me to wait 2 to 3 weeks when they have an open schedule, I had a guest staying in one of my room for a total of $500 the weekend, I had to cancel him and lost the booking fees. So finally after multiple back and forth with them I told them to come get the tank and cancel the account I paid all fees required that day.

I was disappointed with the service and lack of communication… I booked a new service with Ferrellgas, who came as soon as possible with a new tank and connected me since it was still cold up in the mountains and we had no hot water and no cooking stove due to all being gas powered.

In august I receive a bill from AmeriGas stating that my account is pass due and that I also owe them for a breach of contract.

This company is the worse on keeping track of the service they offer and don’t.

I reached back out to them of course irritated, never heard back instead they keep on sending bills reminder telling me to pay them.

They have no concern of what I went through for 2 weeks nor the $500 loss from my guest. I do not encourage the use of their services, save yourself the headache…
