I received an above ground pool from Intex. The order was to include a Ground Cloth. This item was not in the package.
I called Customer service and was informed that I had to file an investigation/complaint from.
They sent me a Link and complaint number. I can not open the file they sent. I tried to cut and paste, that did not work either.
I called Corporate Headquarters and spoke with an "ED". He was very rude! Bottom line, if your order is missing items or damaged, you are out of luck! And they don't care!
Forget about filing a claim or complaint with this company! The link they send out from Hong Kong does not exist. The only way to talk to anyone is to call the corporate office in California @[protected]! By the way this is Pacific time!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Intex Recreation - pool pump too small
I purchased a 15'X48" Round Metal frame above ground pool. The filter pump included in the package is the Krystal Clear Model 637R filter pump. This pump is only capable of filtering 1, ooo gal. per hour. It does not filter the proper amount in order to filter the water in the 4, 440 gal. pool.
I have discussed this with several Professional Pool Companies and they all agree the GPH should be no less than 2500 gals. per hour.
I called Intex, and was told point blank that the pump was fine.
On their web site, they offer the correct (replacement) pump; Intex 633 Small Pump UPGRADE PACKAGE! I have to purchase !
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
