I use samsung devices all with android 14. I have been using uptodown for several years without any issues. My only concern right now and I haven't been able to get a straight forward answer. They blame the app. I'm trying to download. I know for a fact that's not it. I have been more concerned with privacy. I am getting rid of google as much as I can, with this new device I'm not even signing into a google account. I know the only true way to get rid of google is to root your device or buy a google free device. Neither or an option right now. I am unable to download or get updates for my apps through cuptodown while my vpn is active. I know I can disconnect vpn and everything works fine, but that defeats the purpose. I really want to keep uptodown if they can help me download and update while my vpn is active. If not does anyone know of an alternative app store that works while vpn is active. thank you
