TunePat Review: Decent Product, Sketchy Customer Service
So, I tried out TunePat and it actually worked pretty well. I was able to convert some of my favorite songs from Spotify to MP3 format and listen to them offline. The website said that the full product was only $14.95 a month, which seemed like a pretty good deal to me, so I went ahead and paid for it.
But then, I got an email from "Cheryl" saying that their background system was being upgraded and the monthly option was temporarily unavailable. Instead, I would need to buy the *$129.95 lifetimeproduct. I was pretty upset about this, since I had already paid for the monthly option and didn't want to spend that much money all at once.
"Cheryl" did offer me a refund due to the misunderstanding, but when I tried to take her up on it, it turned out to be fake. I had to call my bank and initiate a chargeback to get my money back.
Overall, I would say that TunePat is a decent product, but the customer service is pretty sketchy. If you're thinking about using it, just be aware that you might run into some issues with billing and refunds.
