One of the legs on my recent flight from Canada to Hong Kong on Wetjet/Korean Airline was cancelled due to typhoon approaching the South China coast. I call TV and the agent managed to cancelled one Wetjet leg of the flight but I need to go on the Korean Airline to "un-checkin" before he can rebook me on the Vancouver to HK legs. As Korean airline is cramped with customers like me needing to rebook their flights the TV Agent promised to call me back the next morning. He also said he has 'blocked' he fligth I want to rebook but need the checkin to be cancelled first before he can issue the new tickets. It was also end of shift for him.

Next morning, wait and wait no one called! I finally called and spoke to another agent and was told the flight I hoped to rebook was already full. And no TV did not 'blocked" a seat on this particular flight for me. Finally after a lot of searching I was able to book my flight but a day later than what we could have booked the night before.

First what the first agent said that he already 'blocked" a seat for me on the flight we selected was totally false, and he never follow up to rebooked my flight as he indicated, nor to call me back at the agreed hour to follow up.

As it was the end of shift for the agent I asked him to pass the file over to someone else to follow up but he expressly said no. Not sure if the guy was on commission or why!

Flight cancellations already put a lot of stress on travellers as the entire itinerary needs to be re-scheduled. Don't need an agent who did not follow up as he promised.

Desired outcome: Also rebooked via another agent but do appreciate a response from TV
