Crooks stay away
Kept telling me I owed them money months after payment through credit card. After sending multiple emails with proof of payment, sending it through usps with proof, and phone calls and getting nowhere I contacted my states attorney general's office, and they are assisting me with help. Ohhhhhh and they say one price online but when you are charged it is more money so check your accounts. Never again I also contacted the ftc and the consumer protection agencies
Look at the bbb reviews they're all bad
Recommendation: STAY AWAY
Mystery Disappearing Package
I have never ordered anything from the Bradford Exchange, and yet they apparently sent me a package. Today I was informed that the package was left at my front door, but it wasn't. Something tells me that maybe my post office intercepted it, if they recognized something suspicious.
In any case, this is so weird. I wish I knew what was going on. Were they trying a brush scam? Did they send me some strange, invasive seeds? Hopefully, soon, my post office will be in touch with me with an answer. I have just sent them an email about this.

Sister set
I can't believe you took advantage of my naive sister! She wanted to get me the sister set and she thought you had to send it to her and then she had to send it to me. Then when I mentioned to her that there was a chip in the heart plate, you told her she would just have to purchase another one and she would have to pay shipping twice again? That is ridiculous!
I request that you either refund her the replacement amount or send me a shipping label so that I can send them both back to you and you can refund her money. None of that can be considered good customer service. There is no way that this is worth >$200 :(
Claimed loss: >$200
Desired outcome: I request that you either refund her the replacement amount or send me a shipping label so that I can send them both back to you and you can refund her money.

Refund not given
I purchased the rainbow bridge candal holder from the bradford exchange early november 2023. It arrived about two weeks later but I returned it straight away as I was not satisfied with the quality. I had to contact them to see if they had received it as I knew it had been delivered by the tracking number. I paid by credit card but they said they would refund me with a cheque. I never received it, they said I had to wait because of the christmas post, after I kept emailing them about it. After a month it had not arrived so I they said it must be lost in the post and they would send me another cheque out, that was over a fortnight ago and I still have not received it. I paid £70 for the item plus £7 post and packing.
Desired outcome: Please refund

Graceland Christmas Elvis Presley tree-product # 14-01605-002
Client Number: [protected]
Order Number: 7 [protected]
To Whom It May Concern;
I purchased the Graceland Christmas Elvis Presley tree as a gift and although it's beautiful I've experienced the Issues:
1)I find the ad totally misleading, (and yes shame on me for not scrolling down and realizing it's a series and you don't get the entire tree as displayed
2) I then received a charge on our charge card for $41.33. I contacted customer service via the form, and that is I found out the charge was for the Tree and Jess explained I will keep tree but remove me from any future shipments of this item.
3) On 12-2-2023, I sent a back up email stating to remove me from future on the series. I received a response back on 12-14-2030, from Kristine verifying that the series was cancellled.
4) Well, lo and behold, my husband received a text 12-19 @8:22 PM ET that a charge of $16.95 was charged to our card. I do not have the item, nor did I order it, nor do I want it.
Please refund our charge card, and please ensure we are removed from any more mailings and charges for this series.
I will pay closer attention the next time I order from Bradford Exchange.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Chris L Ross
Desired outcome: Please refund our charge cardI have not received the item, and when I do(hopefully will receive) I will send it back.

Freedom chopper cuckoo clock
I ordered a Freedom Chopper Cuckoo Clock in September 2023 from the Bradford Exchange online for $165.00, paid for it through my PayPal account, it was delivered to me in October 2023 . The package had another persons name above my address, no problem. After contacting customer service they informed me that my credit card declined the charge. I asked them for the last four digits of the card and I informed them it was not mine. Then they assigned my name to the persons account whose name was on my package and they demanded $271.00 for the clock. After sending my PAYPAL transaction and a copy of my credit card statement showing the Bradford Exchange transaction they still refuse to acknowledge my purchase. Now November 2023 the clock stopped working I contacted customer service , they sent me a return label I shipped the clock back, now they informed me they will not replace my defective product unless I pay them, the Bradford Exchange is a fraud company to deal with.
Harry Fash
Desired outcome: Refund my payment or replace the clock
Charging me for a subscription that I did not order
On 10/12/23, I ordered Thomas Kinkade Light Up Season Ornament collection (box of 4). Instead of paying for it in installments, I paid for the entire box with my credit card. On 10/13, the funds were removed from my account. I received the ornaments on 10/18. On 10/30, I found out that they tried to charge me for another order worth $42.39. They had the incorrect expiration date so my bank denied the purchase. On 10/31, I got an email from The Bradford Exchange saying that they are "unable to gain authorization to charge the credit card provided for the order" and they will bill me unless I provide another credit card. After trying to call customer service several times, I finally got through. The woman told me that it was part of a subscription and that's what they were trying to get money for. I told her that I did not sign up or order a subscription and asked her why their company did that. She must've hung up on me. So much for good customer service. I will never order from The Bradford Exchange again!
Checks
I purchased 2 box of plain standard single page checks for $5.99.
I did standard shipping & handling for $2.95 and tax was to be .63 cents for a grand total of $9.57. This was the amount quoted to me when I placed the order online. This was the amount am email sent to me a day later said. Imagine my surprise when they took $27.18 out of my bank account. When I called customer service they said well you ordered 7 years ago and since you ordered once in the past it costs much more. I asked why that wasn't quoted to me on the follow up email stating what they would be charging and they had no answere...but the checks have been mailed so toolate so sorry. I asked to talk to a supervisor and she said it would b a long wait...I said that is perfectly fine. After a half hour she came back and acted like she couldn't hear me and hung up. I can't give a low enough rating for this company!
Items sent back
Last year just before Christmas I bought 2 real born dolls for my grand daughter, I wasn’t satisfied with them so I returned them at my local post office and purchased 2 more dolls which was beautiful.
A while later I received a debt collector letter about the 2 dolls I had returned, I am still battling to this day about these dolls I am not paying for something I no longer have. The serial numbers have been mixed up on both orders and they say they haven’t received them. There is no one to talk to you about this I have tried numerous times spoken to debt collectors about this. I would really appreciate someone from Bradford exchange to get in contact with me to find the dolls in your warehouse.
Checks
I ordered some personal checks in July. I waited three weeks and didn't receive. I contacted the company and we confirmed the address. They said they would resend and confirmed that they were resending in August and to this day - 8/31... I have not received any checks.
I was told that I should have paid for the secure shipping, which I find ridiculous because this is a check company and sending anybody checks should include secure shipping! I was told that I was eligible for free shipping so why would that not include a "secure shipping" method!
I now have two sets of checks floating in the system somewhere. I have no idea who has my bank account information and checks. There is no proof that Bradford Exchange shipped them other than a confirmation email that said it was shipped. There's no tracking number which is really disconcerting! I have ordered from Bradford Exchange many a time and have had no issues until this time. And this time... my bank account information is out there for someone to use! I tried to find out who I can contact in case my information is compromised but they said they had no idea who that would be? A refund was processed but the main issue is that there are two shipments of checks with my personal bank account information floating about in someone's hands!
Desired outcome: Track down the shipments and make sure that the checks are either destroyed or put in my hands!
Thieving money from my bank account
I paid, what I thought was an initial fee of about $19.99 to ONLY receive free shipping on future orders, as advertised on your website. I had intended to send my 4, very young, grandchildren silver dollar collections every year on their birthdays until they're 21. Apparently by paying this fee, it allows you to send shipments, that I have never ordered, and take money from my account, that I have never authorized.
I made the stupid assumption that you were a reputable company. I should have looked at the reviews online beforehand.
My address is 17822 E Florida Ave, Aurora Co. I have NEVER received any shipment to this address.
The sad thing is, you could have had 4 orders from me every year for the next 17 plus years and small gold bars at Christmas.
I spoke to my bank in England, and they recognized your website as being tagged as fraudulent, receiving a huge number of complaints.
Deceive the customer with the fine print, hope that the majority won't complain, and deduct what is refunded. Aligned with the protocols of scummy insurance companies.
I reiterate my former statement; you horror of a 'company'.
Desired outcome: Please send me every penny you have taken from my account, which I didn't authorize.
Silver eagle coins
i got 2 coins from the bradford exchange for 140 dollars i ordered 4 coins and they charged my card on 06/27/2023 for 280 dollars i never got the last coins i just now called them and they said that the 280 dollars only paid for 2 coins they jumped the price for the same coins from 70 dollars each to 140 dollars each and i have not got them yet they are crooks
Desired outcome: i want 4 coins for the 280 dollars i paid
Rudolph Village
Bradford advertises and shows a 4 piece "Rudolph Village" for $69.99 a piece.
A year later they are still sending me 1 of the come to find out FORTY - yes I said Four Zero - pieces that are a part of this collection. They auto withdraw between $29 and $32 dollars sometimes twice a month from my bank account.
After receiving the fifth piece BUT NOT ANYTHING SHOWN ONLINE I called and inquired.
- They can't tell me what pieces are being sent next
- They don't have a catalogue or listing of available pieces
- They won't send me the items that were pitched as "Free with Purchase" because I haven't completed the collection
- They swear this is all legit and I should have known when I ordered the collection that this was basically a life long scam.
NEVER again BS Exchange...Preying upon people who aren't going to question things like I did and taking, taking, taking!
Desired outcome: TRUTH in advertisingA catalogue with the real inventory of ANY collection
Mail harassment
Ordered the ww2 planes handpainted zippo lighter collection with "wooden" display (is actually plactic painted to look like wood) and when mailed a zippo out of the series collection that was NOT a ww2 plane painted on the lighter, I called to cancel getting anything else from this series. Bradford exchange continues to send me these lighters along with an invoice, to which I refuse to open the mail & return to sender. I have called & been told my series was canceled yet they keep sending these lighters with an invoice.
Desired outcome: I demand that Bradford Exchange to Cease sending me these lighters and invoices that I have called on several occasions requesting to stop! Thanks in advance.
Coin advertisement
I saw an ad that you could get a free silver coin and then I saw that you could buy a set for 79.00 dollars and I ordered it. I received the free one and nothing else but they started talking money out of my account. I spoke to them via email and they said they would cancel my subscription and my order and today I see they took money out again. I am going to the bank to file a report.
Desired outcome: End my contact with these people and I don’t want them to touch my account. End my subscription.
Unreliable and Dishonest: My Experience with BradfordExchange
My mother passed away in October of 2016, and I had to contact BradfordExchange on November 8th of that year to stop mailings and report a missing coin from the presidential collection. They said they would send it to me at no charge within 10 days. However, at the end of November, I received a check for the credit of the coin instead. I called them on December 5th to report that I needed the coin, not the check, to complete the collection. "Sreege" told me to shred the check and that she would send the coin in my name to my mother's address since her account was closed. Unfortunately, I never received the coin, even though they sent me an invoice for it that they never actually sent.
On January 17th, 2017, I sent a letter and the check from November asking them to send the coin and use the check as payment. On February 6th, 2017, I received two letters stating that there was a discrepancy in their records and that I needed to sign and return them. I mailed both letters back on the same day. On March 3rd, 2017, I received a postcard asking me to call them to discuss my account. I called on March 6th and talked to "Whitney." She told me that the coin was there and had not been sent because I never sent payment. I went through the whole scenario with her, and she talked to her supervisor. She said that they would send the coin at no charge, and I should receive it in 5-10 days. She also said that she had cleared the invoice sent in my name, and I would not receive any further invoices.
However, on March 11th, 2017, I received another check in my mother's name showing that the order was cancelled. Then, on March 18th, 2017, I received an invoice in my name stating that it was the third request and that it was past due. They said they were sending it to the credit department for review. Not only did they prey on a woman in her 80s, but they also messed with me after her passing to try to get multiple payments for shipments that were never sent or received. I told them each time that the check was not cashable due to the estate being in trust. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience dealing with BradfordExchange.
Poor Customer Service and Misleading Rewards Program at BradfordExchange.com
I recently ordered a necklace from BradfordExchange.com that had the names of my grandchildren on it along with their birthstones. I placed the order on November 23rd, 2022 and after about a week, I checked on the status of my order and saw "No Activity". I was worried and contacted customer service. Unfortunately, the female who answered the phone had a strong accent and I could barely understand her. She informed me that there was a backorder but assured me that there was a Christmas delivery promise.
I continued to check the status of my order and still got "No Activity". I emailed customer service three times and each time I was assured that there was a Christmas guarantee delivery. However, on December 20th, I called customer service again and spoke to yet another female who I could not understand. She now claimed that it was still on backorder and may not arrive until January 5th, 2023, despite receiving five confirmations from Bradford that it would be delivered before Christmas.
I was frustrated and disappointed with the lack of communication and clarity from BradfordExchange.com. I believe that they should have better customer service people who speak English. It was difficult to understand what they were saying and it made the situation even more stressful.
To make matters worse, I made sure that I was not enrolled in any Rewards program, and on multiple occasions, I was told that I was not enrolled and would not be charged any fee. However, when I received my Visa bill, there was a $14.95 Rewards fee charge on it. I was angry and immediately cancelled it through my card company. I contacted Bradford and spoke to yet another person who did not speak English. He tried to tell me that I had signed up for it, but I explained to him that I did NOT enroll. He eventually sent me a cancellation notice, but I am still wary that they may try it again next month.
Overall, my experience with BradfordExchange.com was horrible. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The lack of communication, clarity, and customer service was unacceptable. I hope that they can improve their services in the future.
Terrible Customer Service and Billing Issues at BradfordExchange.com
I recently made a purchase on BradfordExchange.com for a vintage Coca Cola clock as a gift for my sister-in-law. However, I was charged for two clocks instead of one. I immediately called their customer service to inform them of the mistake and requested that they release my money for the extra clock. However, they denied charging me for two clocks, even though I was certain that they did.
After receiving only one clock, they still had not released my money for the second clock. I called their customer service multiple times, but nobody would help me. A week later, another clock arrived, even though I had explicitly told them not to ship it out as I had only ordered one. My dad resent the extra clock back to them, but I still did not receive a refund. I continued to call their customer service, but was treated poorly and lied to.
Finally, I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor. The person who answered the phone laughed at me, even though I clearly heard him laughing with someone else. He then proceeded to swear at me and hung up on me. All I wanted was my money back, which they had tied up for over a month and had cost me two overdraft fees totaling $70.
Today, my dad called them and spoke to a supervisor who claimed that they had mailed out a check to me, even though they were supposed to put it back on my debit card. My father and I have spent thousands of dollars with this company, but I will never do business with them again. They are liars, thieves, rude, and just plain stupid. I will also be warning others not to do business with them.
