My recent experience with Tejas was the best I've ever had with a car dealership. Even though my credit ain't great, Javier still got me into a vehicle that satisfied all my needs and worked with my down payment to make it happen. He was real patient and understanding and took care of all my needs. He was real professional and went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience at Tejas Motors. Overall, great customer service from a super friendly staff that made buying a car quick and easy!

Erma gave out my personal information to two different people. My car is in the body shop and she told my personal information to him and also to my mother WITHOUT my permission! When I called the GM, he just blew me off and said he will talk to her. Erma is rude and will harass you for every little thing! She's been harassing my body shop guy and now he's unsure if he wants to do the work or not. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! Their cars are way overpriced and their interest rate will have you stuck with a car for 20 years! Currently filing with the ComplaintsBoard.com!

I bought my car in January and have been so happy with our purchase and really satisfied with our relationship and agreement with Tejas Motors. Two nights ago my fuel pump went out and left my husband stuck. Lucia worked and got me an appointment the very next day by chance and less than 24 hours later, my car is back with me in tip top shape. The shop guys were really nice and helpful and, as you can tell, worked so fast. Casey was great facilitating the whole process. Then to top it off, they offered a handy interest free payment option in case we couldn't pay the whole ticket. In 36 years I've never had a more timely, handy, hassle free car repair experience. It's never great when your car breaks down, but I gotta say this has been as great a situation as is possible. We will keep buying our cars from Tejas and using them for all repairs!

This dealership is the worst I've ever dealt with. They're so unprofessional and rude. I got insurance for a 2017 Ford Focus, which was the car the sales rep and I agreed on. But when I arrived on Saturday, the Focus wasn't even ready because they tried to sell me another car. It turns out the sales rep, Moses, made a mistake and didn't give me the correct information on Friday. They let me drive all the way from Midland to Lubbock without telling me anything. They only reduced the price of the car to keep me interested, but I called them out on their unprofessional behavior. They seemed annoyed when I pointed out that I didn't agree to buy another car. I already put insurance on the 2017 Ford Focus. I left the lot with the car on Saturday, but on Sunday it overheated, the AC stopped working, and the rearview camera messed up. On Monday and Tuesday, it overheated while parked. I contacted the sales rep, Moses, and sent him pictures and messages about the issues. He was helpful and said he would talk to the manager to see what they could do. But when I spoke to another employee named Sof, he just said, "But you chose that car." I wasn't aware of any defects, and they told me it had passed inspection. They wanted to pick up the car and fix it, but that would leave me without a car. How can they sell me a car and then try to take it back within a day? If something was wrong with the car, they should have told me so I could choose another one or go somewhere else. My daughter's safety is more important than their sale. I dealt with Casey to resolve everything, but he was very rude and unprofessional. He didn't even want to listen to me when I tried to explain the situation. He just said, "I already know the situation." He didn't acknowledge me when I arrived on Friday and told me to wait outside after inspecting the car. I have videos and recordings of how rude and unprofessional he was throughout this whole situation. Every time I said something, he rolled his eyes and walked away without apologizing for selling me a defective car or the terrible service I received. They even charged me a 15% restocking fee, even though the car couldn't be restocked because it was overheating. This was their mistake, but they got upset when I called them out on it. According to their website, the general manager is Abel ***, but Casey introduced himself as the GM. The website says he's a sales manager. They put me in a financial burden. I already paid $300 for insurance on my Ford Focus, and I had to pay my friend to drive me to the dealership twice. They didn't even give me the full down payment, even though they sold me a lemon car. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here. I deleted my initial post because I was afraid they would retaliate by holding or canceling my down payment check. I've been having trouble cashing it or verifying funds at three different places. These people are scammers!

I bought a car from Tejas Motors on Ave Q on 12/19. The next day, I noticed a strange smell like antifreeze coming from the back of the car. So, I took it back to Tejas Motors on Ave Q for maintenance on 12/21. Caleb, the salesman, told me that their mechanic said everything was fine and they didn't smell anything. But on 12/24, while I was driving to Dallas, TX to visit my family, I started having car trouble and smelled antifreeze again. The engine light also came on. Since it was the holiday break, I returned the car on the 28th and didn't drive it anymore after 12/24. On 12/29, Caleb told me that the car had issues. At this point, I felt like they didn't handle things professionally and they misled me into thinking that everything was taken care of when it wasn't. I don't think Tejas Motors had my best interest in mind, so I don't want to do business with them because they were dishonest about the whole situation.
