SWADVANTAGE.COM review: HIDDEN CHARGES

A few years ago 2011 to be precise...a college student showed up at my front door selling children's books. He explained that he needed the sales to help with school cost and credits. Ofcourse, I purchased the set of books that he keep pushing...against my better judgement as I had a screaming grandchild demanding attention at the time of his visit. Looking back, I should have slammed the door in his face with a rude "NO THANKS". The young salesman was begging, "Please, just a min. of your time". I have recently found out 2/2013 that for TWO YEARS I have been charged 19.95 a month for some online service that you are automatically committed to when you purchase the books. I contacted SWADVANTAGE.COM as soon as I became aware of their charges and the response that I recieved was "sorry, that the college student did not disclose this information to you." NO REFUND for a service that you are unaware of for TWO YEARS. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! IT IS A SCAM THAT TARGETS PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS AND USES CHILDREN'S BOOKS AND COLLEGE STUDENTS TO DO SO!
