On April 8, 2022, I made a deal with Suncatch Solar for solar panels to be put on our house. They said we needed 20 panels at 360 watts or 7.0 kw system, and it cost us $28,000. Being a retired teacher and with the high electricity cost, I wanted to find a way to lower my bill. They promised that these 20 panels would greatly reduce my monthly bill, but that hasn't happened. They kept saying that 20 panels would be enough for our needs. Now I have to pay the electricity bill from *** and also pay for the loan I took to buy the panels. My husband and I went to their office twice, sent them many text messages, and tried to fix this problem over the phone, but they keep delaying and making excuses. They said they would send a technician to evaluate and find the problem, but that hasn't happened. I'm 77 years old and just recovered from cancer, and I feel like this company cheated me.

My name is ***, and I had my solar panels installed by Suncatch Solar LLC in May 2022. Since then, I've been paying both my OUC electric bill and the solar panel bill every month. Unfortunately, I have a broken panel that has been causing me trouble for weeks, and despite being promised assistance, nothing has been done to fix it. Weeks ago, I was told that someone would come to my home to remove and replace the broken panel, but no one has reached out to address the issue. It's frustrating because I've been paying two bills without any valid reason, and whenever I try to contact the company's representatives, they simply ignore me.

Initially, your company reimbursed me for the OUC bill for the first few months, but for some unknown reason, the reimbursements stopped in August, and I haven't received any since then. It's disheartening because I'm left with the burden of paying both bills. Additionally, I was promised a $1,000 referral bonus by your representative, Arturo M, back in May, but I never received it. After waiting for months without any sign of the bonus, we confronted him, and he claimed that we wouldn't receive it because he had already given us a good deal on the price. This was quite disappointing as well.

I was advised to contact OUC to address the issues with my monthly electric bill. However, when I reached out to them, they informed me that my solar panels are not sufficient to cover the electricity usage in my home. Surprisingly, this was never mentioned by your representative, and it could have been a potential issue that I should have been aware of from the beginning.

At this point, I desperately need assistance in resolving these issues or having the panels removed altogether. It has become incredibly frustrating, and I feel disrespected, especially by the associates at the Kissimmee office. They seem to think it's acceptable to ignore customers and purposely avoid their calls. I've even tried visiting the office in person to speak with Jennifer/Jenny, but she remained locked in her office the entire time, claiming to be in a "meeting." When I attempt to call, my calls are blatantly ignored, and I know this for a fact.

Honestly, if nothing can be done to rectify this situation, I simply want it to be over. I am extremely disappointed, and I hope that someone can provide the necessary assistance to resolve these ongoing issues.

I started a solar project on my home on January 13, 2022. A solar broker named *** came to my house to talk about solar. I also spoke with a man named *** from Sunlight Solar. We were planning to start the project in May, but my husband had open heart surgery coming up. I tried to contact ***, but his voicemail was always full. I received an email about the solar loan and contacted them to cancel it since we didn't have solar at that time. They said they would only cancel if the solar company agreed, even though I explained that I hadn't had any solar work done and couldn't contact them. They gave me a number, and a man named ***, who I later found out was the president of Suncatch Solar, called me back. I had a bad feeling that this was a scam and tried to cancel, but they deceived us and have been unresponsive and unprofessional. It's now October 1, 2022, and we still don't have the solar system we were promised due to issues with their staff and installers, who have all been fired. They don't even contact me anymore. We specifically told them that we wanted a system with backup power for outages and solar-powered air conditioning. However, the installers kept telling us that the AC couldn't be powered by solar. On the day of the last inspection, July 11, 2022, the project manager told the inspector that if we wanted backup power, we could attach a generator and use window air conditioners. I've lived in *** for 35 years and know the weather, so why would I get solar if it can't provide AC and proper power for what I need to protect? I have freezers and refrigerators because we grow our own food and raise animals for meat and eggs. I just want them to honor their word and not treat me like garbage. I would prefer to resolve this without lawyers, but I will if necessary.
