I was blessed to get connected with this amazing team at Stop Eviction Consultants. It saved me and my family from eviction. At 9 pm I arrived home and I got served with unlawful detainer - eviction. I only had 5 business days to reply to my landlord. I could not sleep all night. I was stressed and was trying to find a solution. I researched and sent voice messages to different eviction protection agencies. To my surprise, John Doe, the owner of Stop Eviction Consultants, replied immediately. He collected all my information and I sent pictures of the unlawful detainer-eviction notice directly to him. Since my case was very time sensitive, he replied immediately and prepared the demur the next day. So I was able to reply to my Unlawful detainer summons immediately. The judge was able to stop the case. Because I had moved to a new apartment after October 1, there is a law that Covid-19 rent relief application doesn't protect me from eviction. I went to the court and the judge could not prevent me from eviction, and opened the case up again. I gave up, but John Doe was the one who encouraged me to keep fighting and to keep calling the right departments regarding the Covid rent relief team and to keep contacting my landlord.
