Ever since I signed up at Singlesnet.com, I've been getting solicitors for adult entertainment sites and other relationship sites. Why the hell do the pictures on the profiles look so fake? I got two e-mails from "members" who gave me exactly the same e-mail message. What is that all about? Also, it seems to be creating a virus in which the message board phishes for your information and sells it to who knows what. Also, each profile is just bait for more spam.

If it is my advise, people are trying to find someone in their lives and want a genuine date with a real person, there are other better dating sites around. Singlesnet.com needs a full investigation and to be taken off the Internet for good, for it is hurting the integrity of those who are seeking relationships. They are only in it for your cash.

Call the business once.

ALL calls after that to the credit card company. Start a fraud investigation there.

you will win

You bought site unseen? That was foolish. Lesson learned? Next time visit the son.

Before then use a site that is other than searching for a fellow fornicator like eharmony.

Oh no, never give money to anyone you are dating online or even in person, never ever women, its the oldest trick in the book. Sorry to hear that but people take advantage of single lonely women everyday with the gift of gab, I am just too old and cynical to fall for it .

I had the same experience. After they got me to pay for one month, my emails disappeared immediately from my box. This weekend I got two hits from women, one who tried the old Nigerian scam on me, and another who has just started working on me, supposedly visiting her "mum" in Ghana.

Sally,
When you look at someone on Singlesnet, it sends them an email saying you are interested, with the " eye " icon next to the message. Well... if you looked...you must have been somewhat interested and they looked back at you. That did show some interest on their part too... You click on people because you see them on the first couple of pages, that means they are online and see you on their first couple of pages too. Maybe they looked back at you and decided not to take it any farther. I always look back when a man looks at me. Just to see who's looking. The flirts (lips) means they do want to take it farther then just a look. Usually you will see two emails. One look (eye) and if they like what they see you get a flirt from them. (lips) and the (letter) is an actual email from them. The only one that Singlesnet sends out is the "one to one match" (heart). The person may have never seen you, but it tells you it's a " One to one match" right there in your inbox.

I'm on Singlesnet too and you just have to pay attention to detail and you will figure it all out.

Suzi !
I totally agree with you. It's not Singlesnet's fault that scams are everywhere on the internet. I think that most of the members don't understand the icons next to the emails in the inbox. When someone clicks on my profile, just to look, I always look back to see who it was, and that alone is showing that I am somewhat "interested". I posted a comment here explaining the meanings of the different icons and hope the ones who need it will see my post.
I am also a non paying member and have met several very nice men. It's too bad that Singlesnet is getting a bad rap for " Fake Women" and scams. Of course, I don't know anything about the billing problems some say they are having.

I to had this problem, I had contact their online customer service and asked about my subscription, after many endless e-mails about this, they refuse to do anything about it;I copied their responce, copied what was on account together and from there I made a new letter with both information on-----sent one to Singlesnet Inc, BBB and the Attorney Generals Office of Boston Ma
I finally got my money back and Singlesnet has a file with both the BBB and AGA

I was only on SinglesNet.com for a couple of days and then I deleted my profile. I was all out of "points"? and couldnt access my mail. What the hell is that?

All my contacts seem to be from Nigeria and with the very first contact they wanted my email address to scam/fraud me. To be able to stay on this site they wanted you to give them other people's email addresses which I WILL NOT DO!

truematch.com, truebeginnings.com, singlesnet.com ALL ARE FRAUDULANT sites and I very much believe they are based out of Nigeria. There's a HUGE fradulant dating scam going on over there. Google Nigeria scams and you can read all about it.

For the few days I was on singlesnet.com Ive received on a multiple daily basis fake emails saying Ive won money etc and I need to send money to get my winnings. I sent back a VERY RUDE HATEFUL email to the most recent one and I will continue to do so. After I send my nasty little response back I block the email address.

I suggest that EVERYONE that has been scammed by this and other fake scamming, fraudulant dating sites to contact the Attorney General's ofc in your state.

These sites need traced and shut down. Keep the FULL headers when you receive any fraudulant emails and send them to the complaint section of your email provider.

My profile on singlesnet.com is deleted but I CONTINUE to get msgs in my spam box from this site saying that Ive received mail from such and such.

HAVE YOU NOTICED THERE'S NO WAY TO CONTACT THIS SITE? NO CONTACT US OR EMAIL US? THIS WHOLE DAMN SITE IS BASED OUT OF NIGERIA!

I would like to warn women about a guy named Mark Hruby. He lived in Cleveland and is 40 year of age. He is a sick demonic piece of work. He like to take women out, romance them and then use them. He is a sadistic freak and likes to beat women while ";* them. I suggest you steer away. I think him to be a thong wearing closet homosexual, hence why he mistreats women. The anal portion of his life is too in depth for a normal straight man. I will never use this site again because of him. I beleive he has done bad things to a lot of women. I have children and I'm now in fear for their saftey or what he may have done to them.

I had to close my checking/debit card account because my bank refused to credit back the three consecutive $89.95 that was charged by singlesnet three months in a row. Since i transferred all except $5.00 out of the account the last charge put me overdrawn because my bank (PNC) paid the charge due to my long standing relationship with them. Singlesnet ruined that relationship and the bank now has me in collections for nearly $200 and it shows on my credit report. I can't explain how thrilled i am that i signed up for the $24.95 special and all i got out of it was to spend a lot on dates with liars, married cheats, bios with pics scanned from magazines, house fraughs with phoney profiles and pictures that are ten years-three kids-and 200 lbs ago, not to mention the bipolar raging alcoholics and lets not forget the blemish on a 790 credit score. Most of the profiles on s-net are ringers, one of them i found has pics of miss December 1989 who wanted to meet me in the back parking lot of an abandoned tavern! BE CAREFUL! When i told my neighbor (the cop) about it he set it up and they caught 3 men hiding behind the dumpster one with a gun...BE CAREFUL...i would have been dead meat and wih my License and keys they likely would have robbed my house too, the neighbor says it happens alot.

SinglesNet,
It's ok but Plenty of Fish is much better. IT'S FREE!
Yes they are correct, if you click on a person you become interested in them, in their area. ONLY if you flirt is it when you know they are interested.

I have clicked on many that the picture was too small or blurry and when it went into their profile, YUCK!. Then knowing you will become an interest on their profile area. THAT's what I don't like.

You also have very young girls that their profile say they are around 60 years old... come on now, how stupid do you think us guys are! And the girls are early 20's and live outside the USA.
I think the price should be $20.00 instead per month. And some of the people that come up live too far away. It should be done in milage (how far you want to travel.

BUT, I have found that the women on MATCH.COM, are a bit flighty, stuck up, looking for men with money.
I got off that site.

Try PLENTYOFFISH.COM ...it's free, totally free!

I never paid for this, thank heaven. It's setup mostly for scammers. Any real people that benefit from being a non-paying member are women...like ata bar, they sit there..show a little ###..and men come from everywhere. Guy sits at a bar all night, and is less likley to get any ### unless he goes fishing.

This service..a woman who does not want to pay for membership..(i.e. drinks) just sits, and waits..and guys who ARE payingf members give her the free chance to email them.

Otherwise, there is ZERO incentive for people who are not paying members to even contact people that are non-paying members.

It's good for women...because women get what they need just be showing up and opening up if you catch me. For men..mostly a scam.

I feel sorry for some of you that have bad experience from this site. I have met quite a few men locally where i live within 10 mile radius and they were real and sincere. I have exchanged emails quite a few times and have gotten response each time I do it to different members. I have not even posted my photo on line due to security reasons, but once I get to know the person online after chatting with him quite a few times, we exchange email address and then I would email him my photos.

I believe in this site and I am not a active paying member but believe me the ones that are featured members, you can chat and email them anytime and it is really worth it. So far I am really satisfied with singlesnet.com and I could not ask for a better site to seek your future mate or even make friends for that matter.

About Singlesnet.com, if you click on someones profile, you are immediately put on that person's "interest" list, so they in turn probably do look at your profile and send you a message. I don't understand the problem? For the guy getting emails from women out of the country looking for money... that's a common scam, but why blame the dating site? I've been on that site for quite sometime and so have a few of my friends. We have met and communicated and even dated people in our local area. I am not even a paying member and have had a few dates that went rather well. Sorry you all had such a bad experience.

Like she's gonna call & shoot the breeze from over in africa... cmmon give us a break singlesnet, yall are scammers & run a scam site full of lies & fake emails trying to get people to give you their creditcard info, so you can re-bill their accounts without their permission, thats (SCAMMY, SCUMMY, & LOW_DOWN)

Don't ever use your real name on the internet. And use an email address you don't mind losing. You can tell the truth after you connect with someone you have confidence in.

i recently signed up for singlesnet and i have regreted it ever since, its nothing but spam, i met two girls which i started chatting with and for the first few days they were cool and i started to get to like them, and then they went on to tell me how they were out of the country on buisiness as a model or something else and had gotten robbed or something and needed money to get back to the states, after telling me that their parents had died a few months before and they had no friends and had no way to get back to the states and tried to make me feel sorry for them and send them money, i almost fell for this once but a friend of mine told me that it was all a lie and he had heard of people doing this before, but its a big scam to get your money so beware

I have seen both worlds of the really bad site. On one hand i have cent messages by fake people. I get almost 10 messages a day from woman who supposedly live in weird cities in the US to find out that they are really from somewhere in Africa. Their ages never match their pictures.

On the other hand I have actually met five very lovely woman and am going out with one right now. These woman were real people and we still talk today. Its easy to tell who is fake and who is real. Those who come from out of the way towns and funny sounding places are fake. The local woman in my area are real and are truly interest in starting a relationship. This site is the pits but because it so bad you can really find a few gems there. To date I have actually met five real woman, talk to about 8 others on the phone and am seeing one on a regular basis.

I most certainly agree that this site is fraudulent. The first time I agreed to a one month subscription. Then corresponded with a what seemed to be a nice woman. Two days later she was gone... poof... disappeared completely. One year later, I tried again, and the exact same thing happened. I complained to the customer service department and was told that they were sorry for my inconvenience and that this woman probably hit the resign button instead of the logoff button. And then the insult came... they said that once she found out what she had done, they were sure that she would contact me again soon. It truly is amazing what these people think they can do to others. That type of game can be played on this side of the screen too. Whether those who have been taken in by Singlesnet.com rise up together to show that they are a fake, or I have to do this myself. It must stop now.

I strongly disagree with the comments listing singlesnet.com as a fake & fraudulent site, i have met many good friends thru this site & they are most definitely real people. I also had the opportunity to meet my current boyfriend on singlesnet.com & i wouldn't trade him for anything.

Singlesnet is the biggest scam of all time. Try searching for a girl in Asia then you will see the same girl on the Germany site what kind of bull ### it that all about! LOL I just laugh anf figure the singlesnet people who are answering the emails which are sent really must love their jobs reading comments on emails from serious men and women searching for other singles.
