This compny came in to do water mitgation. They put holes in my walls and floors and bent a water pipe, then denied it. Then they expect me to pay a lot, when their damages exceeded what the bill was. I spoke to them, they said they would get back to me. Next call I get is that if I don't pay the bill they will send it to collections. I have pictures! Proof! See you in small claims court boys!

OMG! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING ServiceMaster DSI! They put me on the ignore list for fixing up my place even though my insurance company gave the green light for all the repairs. I had the bad luck of talking to Tom Petrovic who didn't give a hoot that his company was losing out on a $40K job. They only work during banker's hours and won't budge after 4:00 pm or on weekends. They expect you to take a day off work to deal with them even though you're the one paying! They were so rude to me, probably because I'm a chick and they thought they could push me around. There are way too many other construction companies out there that know how to act like grown-ups. And this is all after they cashed an $11K check for mitigation! They're just plain bad at doing business.

I hired Service Master DSI of ***, *** in summer 2021 to fix my garage roof, some vinyl siding, and reshingle a part of my house and garage. They finished the work in October and it cost me almost $12,000. My house and garage had new shingles mixed with the old 18-year-old shingles, which were the same brand and model. In May 2022, a thunderstorm blew through and ripped off around *** the new shingles that Service Master installed just six months ago. The old shingles were still in place. When I called Service Master, they said they were not responsible for weather-related damage. I argued that it was due to improper installation, but they refused to take responsibility. With another storm coming, I had to fix the damage myself. A company that values its customers would have responded differently. Service Master DSI of ***, *** treated me poorly and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had a water damage problem on 4/19 and I hired ServiceMaster DSI to fix my kitchen, dining room and family room floor. They messed up the job and had to refinish it three times, but the floors are still messed up. A Servicemaster guy came in January to look at the damage, but I haven't heard anything since. They also broke my fridge and a chair, but they keep saying they're working on it and I haven't heard anything back. I talked to Manager *** but he and his staff never confirm anything. I haven't paid them yet because the work isn't done.

I called ServiceMaster DSI on 6/21 because of a water leak that messed up my whole house. They sent *** to our home who set up big fans upstairs and downstairs. *** came back the next day and said the fans had to run 1 more day because of the moisture. After day 5 I kept calling *** and he said he was out of town. I asked how much longer do the fans have to run or when was someone coming back to our home because the sound was driving us crazy and I wanted to know the next steps. He gave me the main number to call and I was in contact with ***, branch manager. After 2 weeks we unplugged the fans ourselves. *** came to our home once and said sorry and then said they shouldn't have run that long and someone else would be at our home to do the next steps. To make a long story short they never finished the job and I had to hire another company. Poor poor service. My home ended up with mold due to the delay.

ServiceMaster was hired to clean and restore my home stuff after smoke damage happened on March 26. They did the work and gave back the stuff, but some jewelry and silverware are missing, and some things like a giraffe figurine, an antique china plate, and crystal stuff are broken. There are more things, but I don't want to list them all. I'm worried because the Branch Manager, ***, isn't answering my calls or texts. He texted me back on October 11, and said someone would call me, but I haven't heard from them. I called *** on October 25, and asked him to call me back ASAP, but he hasn't called me back yet. It's been seven months since the smoke damage happened, and I still haven't gotten everything fixed. ServiceMaster got paid by insurance, and everyone else involved got paid too. All that's left is for ServiceMaster to fix or replace the stuff they lost or broke. I think there might be some problems because they're not answering my calls.
