Like a number of people here, I too bought a Groupon to have my vents cleaned by Seabreeze. So far, I have made 3 appointments with them - during each I was given a 2-hour window of when they would arrive. All three times, no one showed up and I eventually had to call the company to ask if they were still planning to come. Three times, I was told they had to reschedule - note that they did not call me in advance to tell me this, I only found out when I called after they didn't show up. No one ever apologized, they did not try to make amends in any way. I am giving up on this farce of company and requesting that my Groupon be refunded. PLEASE BE WARNED - THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD. They are completely unprofessional, unorganized and incapable of providing customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. UPDATE: I just looked Sea Breeze up on the Better Business Bureau website, and they are rated an F due to customer complaints and poor service. Not a surprise.

I also had three appointments over the last two months and they failed to show each time. No calls to say they weren't coming. I have made many calls from CT and left a message for them to call me back. The calls were never returned. Do yourself a favor and don't use this company. I will be calling Groupon for a refund.

Unfortunately, I had this very same experience today. Same scenario: Groupon, no ohone call, no show for the appointment -- and I also left work early for it. I contacted Groupon for a refund and, since it's past the expiration date (which this company scheduled) Groupon is trying to NOT refund my money and give me a credit. SORRY, this was my first and LAST Groupon purchase ... if someone doesn't do right by you, you certainly don't go back for more! They tried to tell me that they haven't had any complaints ... I told them about this site and everyone's problems! They told me that they DO NOT do checks on the services they sell! Really? And there went every ounce of confidence I had with future purchases. Seabreeze Air didn't answer their phone either when I called ... so I will be reporting them to the BBB as well as a SCAM!

Joining the bandwagon! I scheduled with the central office in IL for the service in Indianapolis. Every appt was rescheduled and no on turned up! No one called to let me know they are not coming. The customer service person was no help, condescending, and conveniently could not hear when I complained. And very interesting- she could not hear both times, when I complained ( 1 month apart ) that it was a great inconvenience that I had to take the day off and they don't turn up! I convinced they are a sham operation. I wish I had checked prior to booking them!

I had a very similar experience. I bought a groupon. I called the company to confirm my appt that day and it had been cancelled because they attempted to contact an incorrect phone number for confirmation the prior day. Next available appt was in 4 months later? Just contacted groupon and asked for my money back. Hopefully they can rectify this...

I had the exact same experience. Twice in a row no show and no call. When I called they made no attempt to make it right. I called groupon and got a refund. Absolutely pathetic!

I read this comment on the day of my appointment. It caused to call and confirm my appointment and time. And lo and behold the apppointment needed to be cancelled. She confirmed I had an appointment but when I asked for reassureance that they would be there because of the complaints I read about, she put me on hold, came back and said the techs equipment was malfuntioning and they wouldn't be coming. I would not have know unless I called to confirm.

I had the same experience, ...Stay away! I also contacted groupon, I hope they check these companies out before signing with them...
