My name is Donald Hurt and I have been a loyal member of Ritz/Marriot Bonvoy program since 1997. I had booked a stay at the Ritz-Carlton-Rancho Mirage in Palm Springs CA from 3/19/24 thru 3/22/24. During the stay we discovered on day one that the shower did not function. After several call's and numerous visits to the front desk, the problem never got fully resolved for the entire stay. We exited are stay early due to this issue and stayed at the property Courtyard Marriot in downtown Palm Springs.
During our check-out at the Ritz-Carlton, we spoke to the Manager on duty. He stated he would credit our room a 100.00 for our inconvenience. I did not have time to continue the conversation but expected more than a 100 dollar credit. Not have the ability for proper hygiene for four days is totally unacceptable. I would certainly hope this is not Ritz's position on a proper resolution.
Desired outcome: Open to whatever the Ritz-Carlton feels is appropriate.
