unprofessional and intimadating behavior
Please be leery of this company who claims to work for the client but has no real understanding of what they are representing. Having spoken to both the supervisor of legal assistants Jacoma Wigfall and Director of Operations Micheal Withstaffe (sp?) it is clear that the level of professionalism is at an all time low. Micheal was very disrespectful and went so far as to call into question my behavior as a grown woman! Jacoma, attempted to intimidate me by threatening garnishment of pay and court proceedings while still taking money out of an account that I requested a stop payment for. In addition, the client they are working for, Rome Finance, went bankrupt after being sued millions of dollars in 3 separate states for fraudulent and misleading practices targeting soldiers like myself and other veterans who were being deployed to Iraq.
All in all, it appears that Cohen and Associates and Rome Finance target soldiers, veterans, and the otherwise decent citizens of this country, making it that much harder for respectable persons to go about their business and trust the decisions they make for their families and futures.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Fraud/Collector
BEWARE WHEN MAKING PAYMENTS TO THIS COLLECTION OFFICE...This office has an employee named Karen Ginsberg who use to work for a bigger agency but was fired because she went to jail for idenity fraud ! Do not give any of your personal information to them, she may have access to your account which will have your social security number and birthday...Please be careful ...

In case anyone out there needs to know how to contact them. They refused to provide me with their address so I could mail a certified letter disputing the debt. They also violated the FDCPA in several instances with me. File a complaint with the FTC, your state's attorney general's office, and consult a lawyer.

Yea very unprofessional say the can seize my car because of a credit card debt of 500 bucks will go before the judge before dealing with these clowns especially after reading the above reviews
