To whom it may concern,

First, I would like to thank Mariana (Head Manager of Regal Hacienda Crossings) for promptly handling the issue when I visited with my wife to resolve the matter.

I told the head manager that the managers who handled the matter, Haley and Wade were wrong in that:

1. Haley did not check whether the man who was sitting in my wife's seat had the ticket to the movie. In fact, he and his daughter did not have tickets to the movie

2. The man claimed that his daughter was handicapped, but there was no wheelchair.

3. The managers only listened to the man (who made up the whole incident), but ignored my wife because she is Asian and her English is not fluent.

I would like those managers to be reprimanded for their mis-handling of this matter. In future, please make sure that the ticket holders are not mis-treated because of the incompetent managers who have prejudices against Asian women.

Regards,

Stephen Moon

The initial letter is below:

To whom it may concern,

My wife bought tickets (for her and her daughter) for Mario Brothers 4D tickets for a showtime at 10:40 am (August 27, 2023, Sunday, National Movie Day)

Someone was already sitting in her seats and my wife demanded the man (black man with his child) to move out of the seats because those seats belong to my wife and daughter.

When my wife tried to sit there, he started kicking my wife, so my wife hit him back with her iphone. My wife was asked to leave the room without the employee verifying who instigated the incident and whether the man had the tickets to the movie.

My wife asked the female employee that the man was sitting in her seats and asked her to check for his tickets.  When the employee asked him, the man said that the tickets were given out during the charity event and he had misplaced the ticket.  Since he was handicapped the manager allowed him to sit here.  Without verifying whether that was the case, the employee told my wife that she was in the wrong and look for a seat somewhere else.  Otherwise they will have to call the police on her.

How can this happen?  The man probably did not have the tickets to the seats and he was lying to the teeth.  The employee decided to trust the man's word without verifying with the manager.

Later on, the employee allowed my wife and daughter sit in handicapped seats, but this was such an injustice and I believe the employee and the manager need to be disciplined for this incident.

Desired outcome: Please reprimand the managers, Haley and Wade who work at Regal Hacienda, for their mis-handling of this incident.
