I was so excited to receive my new sofa and loveseat! I waited years to purchase a new set and found one that I loved at your store located in Egg Harbor Township. Salesman was nice and helpful. I was surprised delivery was pretty expensive, even on a holiday (Labor Day) with everyone else having sales as well. I went ahead anyway since I really loved the set. The day of delivery (9/10/23) it was POURING out. First off, I've never received furniture that walked in my door without the wrapping but only the base pieces had SOME wrapping on them and were pretty exposed. The delivery guys did not make any attempt to cover any of the pieces with a blanket or anything. The furniture came in pretty wet. Then one piece was damaged on the truck due to a leak in the truck. They proceeded to bring the piece into my house anyway and leave the complete saturated furniture lying on my living room carpet. At one point, they said I SHOULD CALL to report it, but eventually the one guy said he would call it in. I was told that I needed to keep the damaged piece and they would have someone call to exchange it. Again, just left it on my carpet...I finally moved it to a place that wouldn't damage my carpet. While the guys were here they were complaining abou the company and truck while they put the furniture together. Then when I looked in my entryway, I saw something laying on the floor with batteries laying on my floor. I asked what happened and was told "Oh yeah I knocked your security pad off the wall." No, I'm sorry or even told me about it, I had to find it. No offer to put it back or anything, just left it there. The next day I got a call about 20 mins before the driver showed up to switch out the piece...he was lucky I happened to be home. No one called to set up a time with me or anything. He agreed that the furniture should have been covered and protected from the elements. I received the survey and gave a bad rating, I called the store to compain and was told I would get a call back shortly from the customer care team...no one called me back. I reached out to my salesperson, did not hear back. No one even called to follow up to see how the delivery went. I finally had to go back down to the store to complain...again I didn't get anywhere because the customer care manager is off, the delivery manager I'm told was off and the sales person wasn't there. I was told that I would hear back from someone. Later that day, customer care called to say they spoke to delivery and they would contact me directly. It's been over 24 hours now and I haven't heard back. I called the store AGAIN and they said there is nothing we can do, you can call delivery yourself. I asked to speak to a Store manager, District manager, corporate...anyone above the store level and was told NO I CAN NOT. If I have a complaint, all I can do is contact delivery because it's not the same company. Are you kidding me? I just paid you $3,000 and this is the kind of service I receive! I have dealt with every furniture store in this area, including even Big Lots and Bob's furniture...I have NEVER in my life received such terrible customer service! I need answers NOW!
