Your Aiken County Council members have been warned as well. Yet here we are. There are NO available Fully FDA approved injections. Remdesivir is NOT a safe drug. 🙏❤️✝️ They were all warned and no one did anything.

Another area of corruption in Aiken is in the logical probation office in Aiken, SC. This may change hopefully. The Director of the program is a very competent, ethical and decent caring person. Since she has arrived, she has lowered by the 1000s the number of warrants issued by this office yearly thus saving tax dollars and innocent people time in jail and fines. It seems before she got there, issuing warrants was how the probation officers spent most of their time. In addition, it appears that there is a Mr. Finch, a probation officer that has difficulty with anger issues and is not really capable of issuing clear honest directions to his clients. He definitely can tell a lie. He is very dangerous kind of character in this business because he can be instrumental in destroying people's lives. Most of the clients that are caught up in the probation system have to be squeaky clean if they are ever to break the circuit. If the probation officer does not like his or her client then he or she are in for a very tough time. There are no real checks and balances to make the probation officers accountable. One can go to the top, but you had better be articulate. I believe for the most part, besides Mr. Finch, most of the other probation officers are decent and try and do a good honest job. Most of the clients are caught in a vicious cycle of no jobs due mostly to failed back round checks and face unpaid fees that are due each month. These fees can run into hundreds of dollars a month. If the fees are not paid then the probation officer can violated the clients that do not pay them. They/clients that have been violated can go to court then to a correctional institution and then the tax dollars go up again. The system is so broken. Most of the clients are young to middle aged men with little if no education. So, although there are those clients that earned this probation time or not in many cases, the system is really too broken to provide the reliable support to help move these valuable people/clients to a better place than a correctional institution. More tax dollars there. Mr. Finch needs to critically look at the system in which he works and realize that his behavior is part of what makes it not work, not just for the clients, but for the public interest as well. He needs to reevaluate his purpose and his goals as a probation officer and be aware that his Ignorance leads to negligence. The public really needs trustworthy qualified, not too jaded yet, professionals working in these institutions if they want lower taxes and better outcomes for most of the clients that climbing back to a better life.

Unfortunately, for many citizens in Aiken County, I believe their civil rights are violated by the Sheriff's Department. The sheriffs in Aiken County, I believe, often violate citizen"s rights either through ignorance, or ineptness/ a lack of judgment, sense, or reason and or dishonesty. If you look at their hiring process for the Aiken Sheriff's Department, a high school diploma or a GED is all an officer needs to wield a lot of power. There is not even a psych. evaluation required. Yes, I do I believe citizens may be afflicted with civil injustice by the Sheriff;s Dept . Further, I believe it because I have a grandson that was a victim of a unnecessary arrest. He was arrested and put in jail without being charged by the sheriffs department. They thought he was someone else while they put their guns to his head. He was walking home from a friends house. When my grandson's attorney address this situation with the arresting officers, they said " we have to charge him with something." So, it is my understanding, the attorney agreed to the officers suggestion to go for a J-walking charge. A deal was made. If I had been in town, I would have said no to any charge. I am currently pursuing legal help out of Atlanta to address whether my grandson's civil rights were violated and more over, I want this inappropriate/illegal behavior to be dealt with legally. I am very much in favor of when a person who commits a crime that they receive an appropriate punishment. However, It is my understanding that Aiken County Sheriffs and Police piecemeal statutes to make a crime If they do not have enough evidence to charge a person with a crime or to make the alleged crime hold stiffer penalties. That is a violation of ones civil rights for sure. This type of dishonest behavior costs families unnecessary expense and time and aggravation dealing with attorneys. If a person cannot afford an attorney they will suffer sometimes a horrible jail time experience because the police have literally made a crime. In addition, the police are know to issue courtesy tickets and not actually provide the person with a copy. Of course what follows is a warrant for the person's arrest because they have missed the court day. The police are not held accountable to prove they actually issued a ticket. This courtesy tickets to not have a time or date of issue. There is no record. If you have a good attorney they can tear those cases to shreds. That is also something that has happened to my grandson. Good luck and remember this, in small towns all the attorneys and solicitors and police eat lunch at the same diner. If you need an attorney, make sure you have money and go out of town find an attorney. Overall, stay out of trouble and harm' s way.
