I've had a PV18 for 'bout a year and a half now and it's been workin' great. One of them grass shoots got all split up and grass started leakin' out. I gave Bob a call and he sent me a new one under warranty. I got it in 'bout a week or two. I gotta say, I really recommend this company and their product.

I've been doing lawn care for 20 years, and I've tried out several lawn vacuums with a 3 bagger system. I did some searching around and came across the Protero vacuum and seat dump box for my Kubota zero turn. Let me tell you, it only took me 5 minutes to dump the bags on the trailer and put them back on the mower. Not only did it save my back from breaking, but now I can drop a load of mulched leaves and grass in under 30 seconds. It's really amazing! It can take a wheelbarrow full of leaves and reduce it to about the size of a five-gallon bucket. I can't stress enough how excellent this product is. It's just excellent, excellent, excellent.

I've had my Protero PV18 for the past two seasons and I'm really happy with how well it works and how durable it is. I can easily mow and collect clippings from my Toro 3000 while sitting down, and I do this every 4-5 days from April to November for my 3-acre yard. It's a fantastic attachment with great quality. This Protero Bagger has definitely made my lawn better and helped me save time mowing. I usually end up with longer grass than usual because of my work schedule. It was a pain to handle all the clippings on my 5 Acres. This Protero system is like a dream come true. It was pretty easy to install, I think I had to call once for clarification and Bob was really helpful. The whole process from ordering to delivery was super easy. Thanks a lot, Bob. I've had my PV18 for 4 years and absolutely luv it! It runs off the rear PTO of my John Deere 18 hp tractor and use the quick hitch attachment for effortless hook up. This unit can be emptied from the tractor seat and I'm off and running again in less than 30 secs. I especially like the blower being suspended by the 3 point hitch rather than attaching and powering it from one of the mower blade spindles like so many other units on the market. I got a vacuum system for my lawn mower, and it made mowing way quicker. But, in less than a year, I was cleaning it with my power washer and the power washer wrecked it. So, I reached out to Bob at Protero, and he said the hose for the vacuum system was messed up from the company. Bob sent me a new hose without charging me a dime, not even for shipping and handling. Bob was super honest and kept his promise. I'm gonna keep doing business with Protero 'cause of the awesome service from Bob. Thanks, Steve.

I got the PV18 on a 60" Hustler FasTrak, 'bout 3 years now. Protero is a awesome company that always gave me the best support I've ever seen. They went above and beyond what I expected every time. I love the dump feature, don't even gotta stand up! I live in the rocky part of Arkansas and this catcher survived everything. It's tough, works great, again I love the dump feature and with the outstanding support it's worth every penny of the cost! I'd recommend the company and product to anyone lookin' for a great company with outstanding support and tough, high quality grass/leaf catchers. I'd buy again!

I bought a new Porter collection system for my Ferris ZX3 Stanton mower. After waiting a long time for the item (COVID related), it finally arrived. Unfortunately, it didn't come with the directions to assemble it for my machine, and it also lacked the proper mounting brackets. I tried reaching out to the manufacturer through phone and email, but they promised to send me the correct instructions, which they never did. I spent $4000 on a system that I can't even use. To make matters worse, they no longer offer the system on their website. I'm so frustrated that I'm considering contacting the Attorney General about this company. I've been in business for over 25 years and used to have a high opinion of this company, but now I don't know what's happening with them. Right now, I can't recommend them.

I bought a bagger for my Gravely ZTHD52. I finally got it working. The bagger is great. It's built well and works really well. The reason I'm giving a low rating is because the company's responsiveness has been really bad. They initially said it would take 2 weeks to arrive, but because of Covid-19, they said to expect 3 weeks. Well, it took 4 weeks for it to finally arrive. And when it did, the mounting bars were wrong and the pulley they sent didn't fit. Even the pins that hold the mower to the mounts were the wrong size. So, I worked with Bob and sent him multiple pictures and measurements. This was on a Friday. He said on Monday they would get right on it and ship new parts on Tuesday or Wednesday. But when I called on Tuesday for an update, they said the engineer had tests at school and hadn't been in. So, nothing was done. I called every other day and finally on Friday, they said they had it and shipped it. I finally received it almost 6 weeks later. Unfortunately, they still didn't send the right pins to hold the box to the frame. The vacuum works really well, but just make sure you constantly follow up to get what you ordered.

I bought a Hustler 54" Fasttrack in 2015 and loved it! BUT... it left rows of cut grass that turned brown and made my lawn look ugly. So, I decided to look for a grass catcher to put on it! In looking for grass catchers that would fit my Hustler, I found that most all of the grass catchers involved bags that I had to lift to empty... or the type of grass catcher on wheels that I would have to pull behind my mower like a trailer... which would be absolutely worthless turning in tight areas. THEN... I ran across the Protero grass catcher! I couldn't believe my eyes! The Protero PV 18 would fit on the rear of my Hustler... would have a blower on the discharge of the mower deck, run off the mower deck pulleys and would blow the grass clippings into the catcher hopper. And the BEST of all... to dump the PV 18... all I had to do was back up to the dump site... pull the lever... and it would dump itself! AND... the pile of cut grass would turn into wonderful mulch for my garden! So, the very next day, July 12, I purchased the PV 18 for my Hustler Mower! When my new .Protero PV 18 arrived, I started installing it on my Hustler. It was so easy to install. Perfect, easy to read instructions and it just bolted up with zero modifications. Took me about 2.5 hours. After the install, I took it out for a "Test Mow"! i couldn't believe how nice my lawn looked. No ugly rows of cut grass! And while the PV 18 has a little window to see when the hopper gets full, one only has to listen to the sound of the blower to know when it is time to dump. Of course, as in any machinery, there is a learning curve. In tall weeds or grass... one has to slow down to give the blower time to blow the clippings into the hopper. BUT... if the blower does plug up... all one has to do is pull the hose (it just slips on the blower for quick and easy removal) to empty the clippings. Then with the hose off... start the mower... turn on the mower and the blower will empty itself. Once I got the hang of it, I never plug the blower. I just listen to the sound and I will know when to slow down or stop to let the blower catch up. And when the hopper gets full.. it is a simple matter of going to the dump pile... pulling the lever... and the hopper dumps itself! I don't even have to get off the mower! I know that Kansas is known as the Sunflower State. BUT... in Western Kansas, where I live... there are very, very few sunflowers. What we have is major Sand burrs and Goat Head Stickers! They are EVERYWHERE! Growing in the ditches of our country roads for miles and miles. We can't get rid of them... all we can do is try to control them. One thing that I found so helpful was the amount of suction, from the blower, that my Protero has. I installed high lift mower blades on my Hustler... and by going slow... I can suck up a lot of the stickers while mowing. Did I say that I LOVE my Protero PV 18? And when I get ready to service my Hustler's engine, all I have to do is pull two pins... and the hopper folds back to allow me complete access to the engine of my Hustler mower. What an awesome designed grass catcher! There are no other grass catchers that come even close to the Protero in performance, ease of use with a wonderful quality of grass cut on my lawn. And the best part, Bob and the rest of the Protero team are there to help if needed. So, it is now September and I have enjoyed my Pertero PV 18 for over four years. I just can't express how satisfied I am with the performance of my Hustler with Protero PV 18 Grass Catcher!
