Pro-Tech Custom Exhaust review: Dangerous mechanic - con man 2

WATCH OUT for Terry Kearnan who owns and operates a car mechanic garage called Pro-Tech Custom Exhaust & Brake, located at 717 Finley Ave., Ajax, Ontario, Canada.
He sold me a 2004 Volkswagen Golf TDI through his garage saying he had done all the work and repairs on this car over the years. Because he had worked on my car for a few years, I trusted him. He said the car had been certified, that he had changed the fuel pump, water pump, timing belt and fixed the transmission.My life was at risk according to the real mechanic aho said Terry Kearnan should not be in business as a mechanic. Terry Kearnan also promised to fix the a/c – one of the conditions of the sale. Another condition of sale he lied about was changing the windshield – he never changed it, just covered up. He claims to have maintained the car in good working order over the years. Turns out, after another REAL mechanic, not con man, looked at the car, no work had been done. All the parts were original. The car should never have been certified as the tires were too bald (I had inspected the tires before buying and they were OK), and Terry Kearnan must have switched the tires after certifying the car himself, after I checked out the car and after he took my money hoping I wouldn’t notice. He never produced a comprehensive car proof report either. Be careful who you trust. A con man will be nice to your face, but stab you in the back. And this one doesn’t care about safety. This describes Terry Kearnan with his work ethics. I STRONGLY advise anyone to avoid this garage. I am not the only one he has conned, no doubt.
